I liked the idea of Socratic Knowledge as I have always had more respect for people willing to admit that they are unsure then people who try to answer things they don't know. #I2E21
@BeruIfberu I agree. I think our knowledge of the world is based on our own experiences so it would be hard to believe someone describing things we cannot even imagine. #I2E21
@JonathanDaity This is a good point, but it seemed that they had already tried negotiating and the creator of the medicine was refusing to change his demands. #I2E21
The Game of Thrones quote prompted me to think of my own definition of bravery, and while it is definitely brave to act in spite of fear, I think one can still be brave even if they are not afraid. #I2E21
I agree with Jake and think that it would be fair if he stole the medicine because even though stealing is not morally correct, exceptions should be made when it comes down to life or death. #I2E21
@jam_jub_ub The way he priced the medicine is similar to how we see essential medical items like insulin being priced so highly despite being affordable to produce. #I2E21
@KayliReynolds24 I think pain is a sensation that causes humans to show their truest nature, which makes it helpful for the hypothetical questions often posed in philosophy. #I2E21
@NickCeci67 @JRJw44 @ProfessorDEG I think translation makes a significant difference. This can also be seen in how there are so many different versions of religious scriptures that have been translated down the years. #I2E21
@KelzPag I think the event organizers are the most responsible as they accepted the responsibility of taking care of everyone's rights and failed to do so. #I2E21
@ZacharyMeo@ethicsub The people at the concert had a right to security that was not provided to them, so their rights have been violated. The issue seems to be determining who is responsible for the violation. #I2E21
@LowShamya I think it depends on what kind of disease it is. If it is contagious than I think it would be justifiable to force treatment, but if they are the only one affected than they can make their own decision. #I2E21
@UBXenos I agree that it is difficult to not separate them, but I do believe that national security should always be placed above personal liberties. #I2E21
