I’m convinced that you can get pretty far in life by just finishing things. The world is full of half-written books, half-built businesses, and half-kept promises. You stand out by showing up. By closing loops. By doing what you said you’d do. By having the courage to finish.
Underrated life advice: A good life is built by simply doing uncomfortable things sooner. The delayed conversation gets harder. The ignored problem gets bigger. The small repair gets more expensive. Peace is never found through avoidance. It’s found through direct early action.
If you work in an air conditioned office where your job is mostly responding to emails and putting numbers in excel, but you are still complaining, you have completely lost the plot
People in your blood line would have killed each other for that job, instead of having to slave away with physical labor on a farm land or factory where there was no safety regulations
You literally won the ovarian lottery of being born in this age, and you still complain. Pathetic
I hate when people glorify overworking. Giving up sleep, proper nutrition, exercise, rest, time with friends and family, and never using your days off or PTO isn't admirable. Too many people wear burnout like it's a badge of honor. It isn't. It's nothing to be proud of.
To make real use of ur ego, u have to voluntarily put yourself in situations where it can take a brutal hit. U have to risk breaking yourself, or u won't go anywhere. To use ur ego, u first have to shatter it. By default, the harder the blow, the greater the reward.
Some people are fast readers.
I don't know him though, and thus,I wouldn't want to make any assumptions but would rather give him the benefit of the doubt.
There are only five levels of income:
Level 1 - you work
Level 2 - your team works
Level 3 - your systems work
Level 4 - your product works
Level 5 - your money works
Underrated life advice: You lose nothing by being a little more mysterious. You don't have to share every opinion, every plan, or every detail of your life. A little privacy creates a lot of peace. Keep some things for yourself.
I fucking hate annual corporate self-reviews and goal-setting. No, I don’t want to identify growth opportunities or outline my five-year career plan. My goal is to get paid every two weeks.
Even if you remain alone, the VISION is yours.
Even if nobody believes in you, the vision is yours.
Believe in it.
Believe in yourself.
One day,
those who doubted you,
those who ignored you,
those who abandoned you,
Will beg to be part of your success.
How is one person supposed to work 9–6, hit 10k steps, go to the gym, cook every meal, keep the house clean, spend time with family, sleep 8 hours, and still have hobbies without burning out? We’ve been sold a version of life that’s impossible to maintain.
youll never find a job you actually care about by slinging your resume around on linkedin.
in a world world where artificial intelligence can tailor a resume to perfection, the s-tier cover letter is the furthest thing from differentiating. everyone has a degree, fun extracurriculars, and unique experience. being well rounded is default.
to land a job that wont have you looking for another a year later, the only option is to think outside the box. to put in real elbow grease. to level up yourself. to plant seeds, have real conversations, sling emails to the right people, and be patient.
to find the job you actually want, you need to get yourself in the room before youre in it.
A peak life advice from Alex Hormozi:
“The fastest way to become the person you want to be is to put yourself in a situation where you have no choice but to become them.”
The most dangerous plan is the one that assumes your future self will have more courage than you do today. He will not magically appear. He is built through the ugly first action you take while afraid, tired, uncertain, and unseen. Every delay hands him less evidence to stand on.
Focus — It's a word that has become increasingly common lately, but I've made it one of the core habits I'm committed to building until it becomes part of who I am.
I'll put in the work 🫰🏽
