@ElissaSlotkin Dying town of 6000 ppl in Holly, Michigan doesn’t matter. 10 million ppl in Michigan only 27% live in small rural towns. The super majority living in the cities is important they want progressive politics. tiny center-right rural votes are insignificant.
@zackclaire8@DropSiteNews@ryangrim@JulianAndreone Sure but Saikat isn’t the only progressive in the field. AOC is silent about 150 congressional and state midterms and over 500 smaller legislatures. The midterms are arguably more important than the election. The midterms are where the establishment cuts out progressive voices
@MorePerfectUS@WajahatAli Fuck that. It was planned. It was the entire democratic establishment plotting to have just a few Dems ready to keep the war going. Vote progressive far left in primaries. Stop the establishment!
@RoKhanna@WajahatAli War powers act. Dems could’ve held a vote on it but decided to push it till later. Dems are also controlled by AIPAC. There are a few exceptions like AOC and Ro but they’re the minority.
@60Minutes 126bn could be spent on far better things. If we’re talking transportation then for that money you could operate 1200+ bus fleet for 150years for free. Adding trains after the fact never works. Yiur cities need to be designed around trains in the first place
@AsadFromNYC Mamdani is so far avoiding a fight. Establishment Dems band together like an evil empire when they perceive a threat. He has to fly under the radar, building more and more popularity and doing more and more good. He can do. I believe in Mamdani
@business I don’t trust it. The last BLS guy fired for nothing. This new one seems to make up good numbers on the release and then slowly revise them to the real numbers later. 3 months from now we’ll learn it was -20K jobs or something.
