I think it will just make them less expensive. I’ll keep paying $15 a month for judge me (complex) or a couple hundred for postscript (compliance). You can make simple apps but building and maintaining complex ones is not worth it.
Once again, an AI system is not "thinking", it's "processing", "running predictions",... just like Google or computers do.
Giving the false impression that technology systems are human is just cheap snake oil and marketing to fool you into thinking it's more clever than it is.
I hope this is customizable to your business/use case. When I say customizable, I don’t mean simple prompting. I’ve seen first hand (and heard) that enterprise customers can’t use off the shelf solutions.
I think we’ll go from 25% now to 40% self service rate in 12-18 months. These things are pretty hard to get right unless your customers ask the same 4 simple questions over and over again.
@levelsio We are so, so far away from AGI. Yes, AI will take some jobs but we’re pretty far away from your extreme scenario. Should be similar to how self driving has played out.
so you had 2-3 years to ensure that you and your descendants won’t be part of the permanent underclass and you spent it *checks notes* playing pickleball?
