@anatudor@bramusblog Maybe worth noting that .a :is(.b .c) matches a slightly larger set of things, since it matches everything matched by:

Thrilled to share "Regulating the Pedestrian Safety Crisis," just published
The motivation was simple: ped deaths are up 50%+ since 2010, but @NHTSAgov is the only responsible agency that has failed even to notionally prioritize pedestrian safety. Short 🧵https://t.co/QgrMe9zYSL
@EmilyKager It really starts to feel like the cost of housing would lead to some sort of societal collapse where many of the professions that society depends on would no longer be present in the region.
@BenRossTransit@greg_shill @Jeffinatorator And there's still a bunch of suburban office park construction happening in Rockville, filling in areas near Adventist Hospital.
(Also planning for the Belward Farm site nearby.)
@bgalbs@philikon@AliSapirman Indeed, visible in https://t.co/PXiFNzFxei .
I remembered them somewhere near Duveneck, but I only checked street view on the Alester side for some reason.
@AliSapirman Definitely seen it somewhere else. It was probably near a school in Palo Alto, but I can't recall where, and can't find it on street view.
@drvolts A system like the UK's that has fewer checks and balances might help. The Tories don't campaign to end the NHS because the NHS is popular, and people know that if they wanted to end it, they could. US Rs campaign on things they don't intend to do; it gets the base excited.
@flackrw@Litherum My first Mastodon account, from a few years ago, is in fact gone. (Maintainer didn't want to deal with the spam.) I'm now on my second account.
@Scholars_Stage I saw much more military presence visiting Seoul than I did visiting Taipei.
Though there is always the warning about photography being forbidden during approach to Taoyuan Airport, which gives an expectation of it...
@alexanderdanilo @robinberjon @rocallahan@hsivonen I don't think it's clear what about Firefox OS was a mistake in strategy versus a mistake in execution. (There were plenty of the latter.)
