Thank you @RepAOC, @amyspitalnick, & @stacyburdettDC for leading this important conversation on antisemitism.
Although we may disagree about the current situation in Israel, we must work together to call out antisemitism wherever & whenever we see it. https://t.co/XUS4LWi2nr
You are proud of this?
"Al-Qassam, make us proud, take another soldier out,” anti-Israel demonstrators chanted on Friday night... “We say justice, you say how? Burn Tel Aviv to the ground. Go Hamas, we love you. We support your rockets too.”

I am enormously proud of my daughter @israhirsi.
She has always led with courage and compassion, from organizing a statewide school walk out on the 20th anniversary of Columbine at the age of 15, to leading the biggest youth climate rally at our nation’s Capitol at 16, and now pushing her school to stand against genocide.
Stepping up to change what you can’t tolerate is why we as a country have the right to speech, assembly, and petition enshrined in our constitution.
That's like saying "When I called that black person the 'N word,' it wasn't an insult. I meant it as a compliment."
NO. Those words mean was Hamas says they mean. To say different is to play your audience as fools. We are not fools.
From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate. My work and advocacy is always centered in justice and dignity for all people no matter faith or ethnicity.
Congresswoman with all due respect, that's like saying "Calling an Arab a terrorist is not an insulting stereotype because I meant something else when I said it."
There are lots of ways to call for freedom and human rights w/o sharing a slogan w/Hamas re destruction of Israel.

@RashidaTlaib@AOC, when I was a student decades ago & engaged in non-violent Civil Disobedience, we EXPECTED to get arrested. We trained in how to go limp. To be outraged that there are consequences to actions is disingenuous. I support The Squad, but you're wrong on this one.
@ajd_theory When I was a student decades ago & we engaged in Civil Disobedience, we EXPECTED to get arrested. From Thoreau in the 1840s, to sit-ins over civil rights & Vietnam in the 60s & the anti-nuke & anti-South Africa sit-ins in the 70s, Civil Disobedience has ALWAYS had consequences.
Women's Congress of Dem Party: Today our democratic, ecological, women's emancipatory struggle won a major victory. Our people once again demonstrated its strong will for co-presidency and equal representation. Long live women's struggle!
@BagavathiEswar2 for the heck of it, I went to Rodnan's game logs, year-by-year, at https://t.co/TcSCMC2Xyk. Like with Wilt, they tell you how many 20+ RB games he had each year.
The Worm, in 14 seasons, had 0,0,2,1,3,39,29,27,20,11,9,16,1,1.
That's 159 *NOT* 156.
Jeez. SMH
@BagavathiEswar2 yes, the game was a lot different. Lower shooting pct, more shots, etc. Rodman, taking all into account, was likely the best rebounder of all. But if you are going to use counting stats, like most games over 20+ rebs, it took me 15 mins to show how off you are.
@BagavathiEswar2 in fact, Wilt had 722 games with 20+ rebounds. He had 160 games with 30+ boards, 4 more than Rodman had 20+ reb games. The Worm was great, but DO YOUR OWN MATH!!!!
Russell, BTW, had 598 20+ games, 120 30+. Wilt had 14 40+ to Russ's 9 & they each had a 50+ game.
@BagavathiEswar2 your article on Dennis Rodman was illiterate and historical.
Rodman was perhaps the best rebounder in NBA history, but claiming he had more 20+ reb games in NBA history is insane! Look at game logs on https://t.co/TcSCMC2Xyk. Wilt had 217 in his 1st 3 seasons!
@nadinemaenza So basically, all tweets from Turkiye, say
1. "It's a lie, & fake news"
2. "They deserved it and we'll do it again because they all should die"
3. "But it's fake news. We didn't di that. We would never do that"
4. 'But we are proud that we did that and they all should die."
🚨For the 4th day in a row, the @IDF opened an evacuation corridor for civilians in northern Gaza to move southwards. Since 10:00 am today, thousands of Gazans passed through.
The corridor will be open until 14:00 so that Gazans in the north can evacuate for their safety.
@TouchedAtCinema I saw your article on the Ali-Foreman fight. I had to laugh. You portray Ali as "up and coming." That is illiterate! HA!!! Ali was 33, former champion. Foreman was 25. Ali was seen as old, past his prime, while Foreman was young, undefeated. Your ignorance shows.
@20Hojo Congrats again! Almost didn't recognize Glen with his beard. Tanner looked happy. It must have been such an honor to share this with your dad and your son. Very special....
@20Hojo I'm wondering if it would have been a better story, or not, as stories go, had Mookie hit a clean single or double to drive in Ray for the winning run, or for Mookie to walk & have @20hojo get the clean hit to win it. Shea would still have rocked, & Buckner would off the hook...
Reminds me of a guy we defeated in the 1940’s who wasn’t afraid to share his opinions, no matter how intense and in-your-face they were. Too bad you couldn’t interview him, @LesleyRStahl, you could have asked him about his vegetarianism and his love of dogs.
