@elonmusk I see a lot of ads for conspiracy theories, particularly right wing driven conspiracies, on this ap now. Obviously it is because these are a point of view that EMusk holds and wants to promote. I am quitting this ap.
@martinplaut Only TPLF and government. Business owners and employees, govt employees, healthcare workers, teachers and students, none of whom have incomes or adequate infrastructure, are all saying what changed? What good is this peace?
There is no other way to say it - Israel is slaughtering Gazans. Note that I do not say Jews. It is not Jews; it is the state of Israel. Criticizing Israel is not antisemitism - even Jews do it
.@CoriBush's false accusation of Israeli ethnic cleansing & baseless implication that @Israel is slaughtering millions of Palestinians, coupled with her refusal to unequivocally condemn Hamas's Oct. 7 massacre, is dangerous & feeds into the spike in antisemitism across the US.

@IlhanMN Israel is a rogue state, should be kicked out of the UN, sanctioned instead of supported. US politicians are liable for Israeli war crimes because of their support
@mona_fawaz Didn't even mention Tigray. Mentioned Rwanda, Bosnia, Myanmar, Yazidis. This is how little recognition the human rights situation in Ethiopia gets.
@RichardGowan1@alextarquinio@ForeignPolicy Suspend Israel's UN membership is the answer. While they're at it, suspend Ethiopia's, Myanmar's. Maybe Yemen. Sudan , Eritrea.
@SecBlinken Tell that to Israel. Otherwise it's just public relations and you've already lost that battle. I suggest voting against Israel at next UN might wake them up
@DrTedros It's not anti Semitism to protest against actions of the Israeli govt. Even diaspora Jews protest against Israel. By definition, they are not antisemitic
@addisstandard Just the report one expects from the Amhara Human Rights Commission.
EHRC doesn't report on violations to human rights of Oromo, Somali, Tigrayans, Afar, Gumuz, Nuer, etc.
The Geneva Conventions "clearly distinguish between...a countryโs right to fight in self-defense...and...how a country conducts that fighting....The crux of this is that however legitimate self-defense may be, it can never justify barbarism." https://t.co/Gtdl3lJl4s
@Chamanit1@KenRoth Is Hamas a country in the UN? No, they are a terrorist group - you said so yourself. You can't expect Geneva conventions from a terrorist group. But if a country doesn't follow Geneva conventions, they should be kicked out of the UN and lose all rights of a country
I totally agree. When Israel started saying no fuel delivery because it might go to Hamas, it stopped me in my tracks with the memory of what Ethiopia did to Tigray
@SenatorRisch Israel should not be an ally. What do they contribute? They cost billions per year and are a troublemaker and what do they do for US, EU or Canada? What is this, a decades long guilt trip?
@AJEnglish@MarkKersten UN UNHRC and ICC set the precedent in Tigray. No investigation, no justice, support internal national processes only. Why would US, EU suddenly change tack for Gaza? Israel is more an ally than Ethiopia, though in truth they are both a troublemaker
