@BigJohn043 QE does not inherently increase m2; see and compare to GFC. That is part of the reason liquidity was injected directly into people’s checking accounts this time. https://t.co/WmLsAfnNjV
Every B2B software company is (or should be) building a "headless" version of their product. One that can be used by agents.
But "headless" doesn't mean "brainless".
You don't just wrap your existing APIs into an MCP server and call it a day.
The companies that succeed in the agentic era are those that take a thoughtful approach to *designing* an agentic user experience (AUX).
Yes, that will likely involve APIs, MCPs and CLIs.
But the difference will be in the *ergonomics* of the interface. We need to figure out *how* agents actually want to use our products/platforms. Because if all they wanted to do was use them like humans do, we have "computer use" for that.
I'm personally very excited about this new agentic world when it comes to B2B software.
HubSpot is all-in on building the #1 agentic customer platform.
Just posted this in a private Slack thread with the HubSpot exec team:
Being agentic is not just about agents running *on* our platform, it's about agents *running* our platform (being able to operate it). That's how you take AI from being a simple tool to a savvy teammate.
@MikeIsaac After almost 25 years of Apple Music (since first gen iPod) I bailed in favor of YouTube music. Last straw for me was how shuffle always played songs in the same order. So simple and yet…
@BoringBiz_ Make it dischargeable in bankruptcy and stop backstopping by the federal government. Schools should be on the hook. Can you imagine what car dealers would do to car prices if loans were backstopped by fedgov? No risk and no incentive to cap prices. Crazy system.
@stevesi The library was in widespread use at IBM for many years... I can only imagine how many other random crashes it caused. Agree with you that AI will introduce all sorts of crazy stuff based on its training set!
@stevesi Early in my career I spent a full week day and night chasing a sporadic core dump, and eventually discovered that the semaphore lock() and unlock() functions in a library we were using for a multithreaded app both had identical unlock code.
No one had a larger impact on my approach to business or investing than Warren Buffet. We all owe him our gratitude for showing us how to think, and how to be. Thank you Warren! #Buffett
@chrisfralic@WSJ I feel seen! Particularly enjoy physical papers on weekends. I think two primary reasons - large format lets you take in the page and I find an actually read more articles that I wouldn’t otherwise click on, and the lack of annoying dynamic content that distracts.
