@lloydalter@FFSafeStreets@CBCHereandNow My 18-year old son, Dylan, rode for Uber Eats at the start of the summer. I worried every time he was out on the road. Whether he didn't like the gig work or he could sense my discomfort, Dylan is no longer riding on Toronto's deadly streets. I am relieved.
@DvorahRichler Yeah, I've had it. I've filled in forms for multiple Rexall, Guardian/IDA and Shoppers locations. I'm done and will just wait until I receive an email from one of them inviting me to book. Maybe we'll be eligible to get a Pfizer or Moderna shot before the AZ email arrives.
@DvorahRichler I never thought I'd look back fondly on doing the 7 am scramble to get the kids into coveted City of Toronto Parks and Rec programs. Getting a vaccine appointment pales in comparison!
Thanks to @metromorning and @mattgallowaycbc for focusing on road safety & challenging council & the province to fully implement Vision Zero. Everyone walking or bicycling in our city is someone’s friend or family. If you’re driving, please see them as though they were your own.
Hey @NACTO#NACTO19. Before you fawn over Toronto's leadership, we have seen MANY pedestrians preventably killed in recent weeks. This woman, killed yesterday, might have been someone's mom. https://t.co/SBGWK8pBaR
This one, Friday, someone's grandpa? https://t.co/FxGiYEfN3y
The word you were looking for, driver who nearly hit me while I was crossing the road at an intersection with the right of way, was sorry, not “relax.”
Join us Mon, Mar. 26 (5:45 pm) at #Toronto City Hall for a die-in - a demonstration that we are outraged by the ongoing traffic deaths in our city & a call to action, starting w. the Yonge St vote. https://t.co/wmQim34MHy #topoli#walkTO#bikeTO
Toronto mayor "is sending a mixed message when he says he wants to get drivers home more quickly and pedestrians home more safely"
