Marc Davis is a master craftsman.
People send him their classic cars. He rips out the engines. 3D scans the cars and then gets to work finding a way to turn these old beauties into modern, all-electric gems. The process costs $75k to $175k.
His company - Moment Motor - has done tons of cars and trucks, and, in this episode alone, we take a peek at its work on a 1972 Chevy Blazer (running a Tesla Model S drivetrain), a 1968 Ford Mustang fastback (a Bullitt replica), a Series 1 Lotus Esprit (the James Bond car), a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, and a 1960 Ford F-250.

Alex Smith lost his right arm at 11. Now, thanks to a new implant, he has a robotic arm that he can control via the motor neurons at the site of his amputation.
This technology will help people like Alex now but could be the start of a new era where humans fuse with machines.
Our full Core Memory episode here.
Well here we go with the first step toward proper cyborgs. This company in Texas has an implant that lets you control robotic systems with your own body. I used it to fly a drone and am now prepared to become part carbon fiber. https://t.co/0YdPRrrIbS
In honor of @sendcutsend becoming a unicorn, @corememory would like to hook you up with 15 percent off all your metal and part making needs.
We would very much like someone to make a Disrupted part that we bring along on our shoots and put in our merch store.
Have at it https://t.co/Huyo4Vs39R
I would like to show you what we do at @corememory.
Over this past week, we published 5,000 words on @TerraformIndies and @CJHandmer. The story is an incredible read. https://t.co/sCycrXbNWL
There's a place in the middle of nowhere Texas where 100s upon 100s of telescopes are watching the night skies together. It's the very odd business of @starfront_obs, which more rents a perfect slice of space to people.
This one will surprise you!

This might be the coolest real estate business in the world.
Some dudes took over a ranch in Texas and built a telescope farm. They're managing hundreds and hundreds of scopes for other people and offering super dark skies and fiber internet so that folks can take amazing pictures of space.
Behold Starfront Observatories.
Tomorrow, @sama and @gdb will be on a podcast together for the first time ever. And they will give an exact date for the arrival of AGI.
