Husband, Dad and Head of Year & RS. Lancastrian/Irish in London. Lead a great life thanks to Mrs D! Love sport especially Rugby & Racing, Views my own etc #AMDG
@mcdermottkc_ He took me to Edwatds an incredible shoe shop on Deansgate on the same day and bought me a pair of Crockett and Jones shoes. Another great experience, sadly gone now.
@14thefrog@AFCWimbledon Spot on! The passion when he roused the crowd to get behind the team was incredible to witness! A leader!
I'm not Welsh but I love their word HWYL. He has it in bucket loads!
@Chtoulouse31 I did. It was at Sale FC. They were with Andy McFarlane who I met through a mutual friend. I always lived in Culcheth/Croft but my mum is now in Warburton near Lymm. I got the tram from Navigation Road.
You have to love rugby dont you! Just off to watch us v Met Police!

Imperative that we keep Raynes Park Post Office open - so important for our community. This is something the Post Office CAN get right - please listen @PostOffice
My 2nd article & its about things that are good in rugby!
26 live games from Level 1 to 11, a lot @oldwimrfc & SW London but also a impromptu visit to @LymmRugbyClub where I knew no one was bought a pre-match pint & had a chat to Varun at half time.

This is my first attempt at publishing a personal blog on my "substack" page. Please have read and feel free to subscribe to it. Thanks.

I listened to your beautiful chat today about your mum @dionfanning with @JoeBrolly1993 It resonated with me about my "old man" and what he didn't see
"And suddenly when it happened,
There was so much left unsaid,
No second chance to tell him thanks,
For everything he'd done"
@LymmRugbyClub Also I'm President at a cracking little club in SW London @oldwimrfc we have a vibrant M & J section. Be sure to get in touch if your Juniors ever need a game "on tour" in London, we are very handy for Twickenham by train and we will always see what we can do.
@LymmRugbyClub I will, I'm usually watching club rugby in SW London but circumstances led to me being up here today. I could be watching you guys down there next season!
@WayneBarnesRef@JasonLeonard114 Watching the Quins v Sarries game and I've Just been telling SA pals about Phil Keith-Roach being the seminal "guru" of scrummaging. He won't remember me but I was lucky enough to have some sessions with him at Cambridge in 1992! Incredible man.
@FindingCotton @premrugby@thetimes Your "serious but not serious" take on things makes me giggle every week!
A privilege to watch their home debuts. Two crackling lads. Its been brilliant to see their rugby journey since it started in 2014. Very proud of what they're achieving.
Great afternoon watching @LondonBroncosRL v @LeighLeopardsRL if you had told me 31 years ago when I moved to Wimbledon that I would see Leigh play there at the top level!
Great game, atmosphere & product.
Surely @SuperLeague must have a presence in London.
@freestateirl@JoeBrolly1993@dionfanning Im pretty sure "The Parting Glass" at the end of the episode was the one sung at The Albert Hall with Peter Coughlan. A great fella, incredible singer and guitarist with a beautiful voice!
