@aarmlovi Are NY unions as strong in state politics as CA unions? If the new California prevailing wage - linked bills create lots of jobs with good pay and also have some effect on affordability, do u think NY legislature/interest groups will take notice?
@wanyeburkett I think he overestimates how well people adjust to crime. Many really big problems don't engender some decisive backlash that closes the case. Even spectacular stuff like school shootings hasnt prompted corrective measures on culture/mental health or guns.
@MrsHelmutScholz @thomaschattwill The ones about ex-Soviet/Warsaw Pact countries rising to the challenge of Russian aggression but the rest of EU being lax
@SenMariaEDurazo Please let workers making prevailing wage build more mixed-income housing. We are facing a possible recession with an austerity-fanatic GOP House and an R-appointed Fed chair. CA can be an important lighthouse of high-wage hiring
@thomaschattwill In my experience lots of foster and adoptive parents are conservatives. I think she just got caught in a trap. I have learned three other languages and i don't find people outside the US doubling down so embarrassingly when they are caught in situations like this
