Exciting update! Today, I funded a free Masters in Social Work program for DC residents at UDC in my committee budget. As we face staggering vacancies in the mental health and social work spaces, I want to create a pipeline of people from our communities serving those communities

The Council passed my Pathways to #BehavioralHealth Degrees Act! This creates a *free* Master's in Social Work program at @udc_edu for residents & people working in DC. This will build the pipeline of specialists we need to get at the root of issues like crime and homelessness.
