@CalumDouglas1 Very cool. I'm curious exactly how it as used. If you have the actual vertical profile of pressure and temperature, you can calculate the altitude as a function of pressure very closely without relying on the usual semi-empirical standard-atmosphere relationships.

@AkAstronomy I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t seen it yet. It was on my to-do list for summer but was preempted by New Adventures in Respiratory Viruses. I hope to see Twisters soon, though.
