I need some help with a project I’m working on and need to talk with some content creators. Anyone know any that use platforms like patreon or similar platforms that would be willing to chat with me??

Today being fast and testimony meeting, I’d like to share a story of how it shaped my testimony of knowing God is there for us.
👇🏼
My wife and I had many miracles happen to us while we were in Italy. Our time there, because of the infancy of the Gospel, felt much like building from the ground up. We often were a part of small branches, having to travel about an hour to go to church.
On a cold fast and testimony winter Sunday in 2010 while I was on a long roadtrip, my wife had to take the train to church. She needed to leave about 2 hours before church to make the train times and exchanges. We were the only members of a branch of 50 people covering about a dozen small cities of 300k habitants. In our city of 50k, no other member lived 30 minutes near us. Taxis aren’t available as these are small cities. And Uber isn’t a thing yet.
Halfway through the first train leg, it started snowing hard. As it did, the second train was late. However she made to Church just as sacrament was about to start. This was back in the 3-hour Sunday days. She takes the sacrament, goes to Sunday school, participates in Relief Society, and then bundles up to go to the train station.
With the little Italian she knows at the time, she understands that trains are delayed for an hour now. She finds a warm place to sit and keeps checking the train times. They start going from an hour late to 2 hours late. From 2 hours late to cancelled. At this point she starts trying to figure out how would it work to take a bus home. They’re also cancelled. To make matters worse, she didn’t her cell phone. She was totally and completely stuck. So she did the one thing she knew she could count on: she prayed.
She asked Heavenly Father for help. She told him she knew He loved her and He knew the sacrifices she went through to get to church, and she did it because she loves Him. But pleaded with him because she really needed help.
She felt a voice tell her “go back to the church”.
At this point the snow is falling hard. She walked the half a mile back to the chapel, and as she was getting close to the building she saw the missionaries at the door of the chapel. She starts screaming at them and springing their way. They open the door of the chapel, go in and make calls to see who can help get Kiri home. They find someone and she makes it home almost 10 hours after she left in the morning to take the train.
Later that night she tells me what happened. We have a huge crying session over Skype and say a prayer of gratitude. We agree to call the missionaries, thank them for their help, call the family and thank them for their help and organize a pizza night to take them out to thank them.
When we went to dinner, the family couldn’t make it but the missionaries did. As we shared to them what happened with tears in our eyes, THEY start crying and share that as they got home from church, they did all they could, but with the snow, appointments were being cancelled so they were organizing to stay home for the rest of the day. As they were saying a prayer, they both felt the need to go back to the chapel. They talked to each other about how odd that was, but decided to act on their feeling.
They went to the chapel, spent about 1/2 checking lights, outlets, windows, doors, and as they decided to head back home, as they were closing the chapel, they heard Kiri’s voice.
This is my testimony today the He is there. He is ALWAYS there. His timing isn’t necessarily our timing. I know we all wish it was. Sometimes it is. But have faith that He IS there. And He is always listening.
Have a good Sunday everyone!
