🚨JUST IN: STRIKE LAUNCHES BITCOIN-BACKED LOANS THAT CANNOT BE LIQUIDATED
Jack Mallers' Strike is offering loans against Bitcoin where the collateral is never sold, even if BTC drops 80%, as long as payments stay current.
"You never have to sell your Bitcoin."
It's a apparent to me that there is a growing cohort of Bitcoin maxis who've lost sight of two very important truths:
1) Bitcoin can't be controlled by the amount of btc you hold. The guy with 1 satishi is no different to the network than the guy with 1,000,000 btc. Bitcoin does not grant political power based on wealth ownership.
A holder of 1 satoshi cannot be censored because he is small, and a holder of 1 million BTC cannot rewrite the rules because he is large. Ownership and control are deliberately separated. That's one of Bitcoin's most radical departures from nearly every monetary system before it. Wealth concentration can exist, but protocol authority does not automatically follow from it.
2) Bitcoin is for everyone, even those who you consider to be your enemies. Eventually, every nation state, every faction, every corporation, every group, every individual will have and interact with Bitcoin. It's as inevitable as the internet.
The internet did not succeed because only "good" people were allowed to use it. It succeeded because everyone could use it. Friends and enemies. Democracies and dictatorships. Activists and corporations. The protocol itself remained neutral.

🟠 For Bitcoin
Four ideologies shape the Bitcoin community. Maximalists bring conviction. Capitalists bring integration. Technologists bring innovation. Fundamentalists bring preservation. Bitcoin reaches its full potential when these four forces work in harmony.
1. Never move your stop loss once it's placed
This one sounds so obvious it barely feels like a rule
But I'd bet almost every trader reading this has moved a stop in the last 30 days
Here's how it goes:
You place the trade. Price moves against you. You look at the chart and think - structure is still valid, this is just noise, let me give it a little more room
So you move the stop.
And sometimes it works. Price comes back, trade plays out, and your brain files that away as proof that moving stops is sometimes the right call.
But your brain doesn't file away the times you moved it and the trade kept going against you - and now you're sitting on a loss 3x bigger than you planned.
Your stop loss is a contract you made with yourself BEFORE the trade about how wrong you're willing to be.
Moving it after means you're renegotiating that contract under emotional pressure.
You will always give yourself worse terms when you're emotional than when you were calm.
Place it. Leave it. Every single time.
In 1948 they made literal training videos on how to spot fake news. Now they teach kids that all news is real and questioning things is bad...
Bring back the 40s 👏👏👏
True.
Once the solar energy generation to robot manufacturing to chip fabrication to AI loop is closed, conventional currency will just get in the way.
Just wattage and tonnage will matter, not dollars.
