@DOMOCAPITAL@CNBC@WSJ The cnbc people seem to have confused the issuee and issuer of the stock. You can issue more than 50% of ownership to eBay. As of right now it looks like eBay would get ~2.5 shares of GME giving eBay shareholders 70%+ ownership of the combined.
@ACapitalLP Cnl is basically non-tradable so when those shareholders get $800m worth of shares in Sonida, whose market cap is only $650m, they’re likely to immediately sell.
$Crawa is my longest held investment. When I read the recent book “the compounders” many chapters sounded like they were describing Crawford. Unless the previous quarter was an outlier. No idea why they are selling for this price. Could possibly be an overbid coming.
When people say things like "Value is underperforming" you can almost guarantee they're just not buying cheap enough. 1 PB, 10 PE stocks often don't cut it. That's probably already fairly or even overvalued. Instead try 0.3 PB, 3 PE...Can almost guarantee things will work better
From a pharma adjacent trade, I think its worth pointing out that $MUEL is a pharma focused equipment and facilities manufacturer with an MC of ~$250m that accepted purchase orders totaling $120m from BP in March of this year.

Trading for a $15m market cap today $ECRO
$25m in book value (ex-nonrecourse VIEs), $19.5m FY24 net income from 9 months of Kemmerer ownership. Looks like NOLs getting deployed via $PFX relationship.
This is bigger than an end-of-life mine

$DALN - Had $30m estimated on this property sale...after CapEx, pension funding and severance needs are taken care of we should see a very sizeable distribution, with a shareholder who may look to roll up the business anyway.
lol. Why did I play all these arbitrage games with $CORZ rather than just buy it?
-Buy the stock and CVR and sell a call option
-Buy the warrant that was exercisable only after having a VWAP above $8.53 (or whatever the strike was)
Some “debt capacity bargain” spin-offs recently where a company was spun off with no or low debt and lots of cash. $SUNS, $CURB etc. Should be fairly easy for them to buy additional assets. The opposite of the garbage barge?
$NEWT is a compelling long at $13. Newtek Bank is the largest player in the SBA lending market. At today’s price, it trades at a market cap of $340M & <7x what the company has guided to earn this year ($1.95). 1/n
