@wisemannerisms We had an early thaw here in the PNW. On a warm weekend in Early April I hiked in to a couple Mt. Hook lakes thinking I'd find the same thing. I didn't see a single fish rise during the day, threw everything in the the fly box at em without a bite. Quite a surprise.
@rossiadam It definitely dulled the bandsaw blades, I also struggled drilling holes, planing and sanding. But three years on and it's still looking amazing.
@gooderdle@daniela0spector I scanned ~5000 negatives in about a month with a technique using a digital camera, if you search DSLR film scanning, lots of info about it. The biggest advantage over flat bed scanning is speed. I wrote about my setup here https://t.co/NnnmDxmexC
@tomkimmerer I had the opportunity to mill a few black locust trees here in the Pacific Northwest. They're now decking for a little front step, planter boxes and a trellis, all will probably outlast the house.
Which #Photoshop trick really changed your workflow? Made it faster, better, easier?
For me, a simple one - Command+J to duplicate a layer or selection.
Your turn - go!
