Gimlet has been named to the @Redpoint InfraRed 100, which honors companies building at the cutting edge of infrastructure.
As data centers transform to meet the immense needs of agentic inference, it is an incredibly exciting time to be building in this space.
Check out our Nasdaq photo, and congratulations to all of the companies featured!
@filpizlo@wookash_podcast Do you go all in on exceptions or have certain project boundaries where their use is acceptable?
I’ve only worked in Google style c++ code bases.
@Pr0Ger@DanielLockyer The UI glitches were minor for you? My 15 pro max tears just long enough that I feels pretty major to me.
I’m usually the person that doesn’t notice high res screens or font issues easily, so I thought I would be in the more tolerant camp.
In my case, my http server didn't support the features the BMC http client needed -- it was using httpfs2. While I have inspected packet captures in the past, having the answer in < 1 min is faster than I'll ever be able to do manually.
Claude code's ability to debug bare metal server management is scary good. Had issues w/ a Supermicro BMC's virtual media where it couldn't fetch an ISO from a http server.
These arcane problems were always difficult to debug, but claude got it in a one-shot.
@kellabyte It’s wild how AI removed the “energy tax” on experimentation. Now the floor is so low you can make meaningful progress with such little effort.
@N3mes1s@seanhn Do you ever have proxy or DNS issues? I’ve found the sandboxing causes lots of breakage for my containerized application.

@seanhn You’d run opencode in the container and then access its web UI. That’s what I’m doing for my projects.
My dev machine runs Tailscale and I have opencode listen on the Tailscale interface.
