I don't label myself The Right, but here's a moral argument: it is immoral to pursue policies that don't work - that will make people poorer and their lives harder - just because they make you feel morally superior.

It is immoral to ignore the evidence you don't like.

It is immoral to pursue fashion over truth and ego over practicality. It is immoral to ruin people's lives (including the lives of the poorest) to satisfy your own moral narcissism.

It is immoral to steal. It is immoral to justify theft on the grounds that a consensus wants to steal.

It is immoral to be an MP and be this abjectly stupid.

This is true. There will be roation out of some jobs and into other and new jobs, but overall, good things.

Why AI makes jobs instead of loses them.

1. There are more profitable ideas/projects than time, talent, and general resources there are to realize them.

2. AI lowers the talent and resources bar substantially leading to more ideas becoming reality.

3. Successful idea/project = more wealth, more work, and more jobs.

The reason why so many people made the mistake of thinking it gets rid of jobs is they see a fixed pie. But in reality we are growing the pie. AI is really only bearish labor for bloated mismanaged incumbents not the entire economy.

Many socialists confuse capitalism with plutocracy and socialism with a welfare state.
Capitalism is voluntary trade protected by individual rights and property rights. Socialism is political control over production and redistribution. And when politicians decide who gets what, they tend to reward the politically connected long before the useful idiots they no longer find useful once they're in power.
