@minicnair Ms. FoE warrior,
It is his account, and he has the freedom to express it in the way he likes it. Your burnol supply might be in shortage, so burn loud & clear...
@sardesairajdeep One thing is 100% certain.
A journalist credentials is definitely not a proof that you are a journalist.
It is simply a i-card to show that you claim to be one.
I will again say, Rajdeep Ji is super duper smart & funny as well. His selective amnesia is honestly a masterclass in narrative manipulation. It is fascinating how his generation claims to be 'permanently scarred' by India’s single 1-7 loss to Pakistan at the 1982 New Delhi Asian Games, while completely blacking out the rest of the actual calendar year from their spreadsheets.
Let us refresh his memory a little from the exact same yr, 1982:
12th June, 1982 (Champions Trophy, Amstelveen): India absolutely stunned Pakistan. Down 0-3 very early, the Indian frontline unleashed a furious counter-attack. Rajinder Singh Sr. scored a legendary hat-trick, Gurmail Singh converted a stroke & Captain Surinder Singh Sodhi struck a magnificent solo goal to leave Pakistan completely breathless. India defeated Pakistan 5-4.
But of course, Sardesai Ji will not remember the 5-4 thriller in Amstelveen where Indian grit broke Pakistan's momentum. He chooses to internalize only the defeats, using poor Indian sports history as a canvas to paint his personal, defeatist nostalgia.
@PC67761415 The way grooming gangs & sharia courts are being propped up in these countries, Pakistan will soon have a inheritance of British, Canadian & American history as well.
On point 2, there are 2 types of eggs sold in Bengal today.
1. The normal edible eggs, sold at normal prices
2. The rotten eggs, very high in demand and allegedly selling at 2x to 3x the price of normal eggs.
There could be an alleged drive to intentionally rot the eggs to cater to the 2nd demand, thereby creating a scarcity in th 1st.
@priyankagandhi Says the lady who never had the time to visit the temple till date. Words are cheap, actions has a price. Are you willing to alienate the carefully cultivated minority vote bank of decades?
Good post and I agree. The only counter I would put, is that the count in many places & many people is now either very near 100 or in many cases crossed it. And given that the left had assumed that this count was never noticed, they are either very surprised & in most cases unable to counter the proverbial "सुदर्शन चक्र " being now being raised (and sometimes even abused) by RW.
Let me explain since I have great respect for you and do wish your tenure a big success.
Our ties with BD are very important and your political experience and engaging personality should greatly help in steering them.
The US ambassador to India has engaged you as US Special Envoy to South Asia.
This is not a mandate recognised by India.
The implication of this mandate is that he is both ambassador to India and US Special Envoy to South Asia, which includes India.
Which means further that he is US Special Envoy to oversee India’s relations with South Asian countries, which includes Pakistan too.
Shades of the Holbrooke mandate which we opposed, masked by extending it to South Asia this time.
I see no issues on which the US ambassador in India should work closely with our ambassadors in South Asian countries, including in Bangladesh.
For anything relating to India’s dealings with other South Asian countries, the point of contact is Delhi.
By reaching out to you the US ambassador is asserting his wider mandate of coordinating relations within the subcontinent.
I understand yours was a courtesy reply to him.
I am outlining some delicate diplomatic nuances that are involved.
There was a country made for this specific purpose in 1947, which now offers the convenience of 2.
Of the 2, one still has a section of fairly porous boundaries for the next few weeks. He should take himself, other like minded folks & their families to avail of this option at the earliest.
Consider 2 scenarios:
1. You apply for a foreign citizenship & you are granted that citizenship after due process. But you do not submit your Indian passport for cancellation, which will still state you are a citizen of India, but you are not.
2. Your passport application is rejected either due to invalid documents or negative police report. You no more have a passport stating that you are a citizen of India, but you still are a "citizen of India"
Weird way the world works, isn't it?
Maybe true, but equally true is that the passport is held only by about 10% of the population as the fact that it can be canceled, if underlying conditions changes or found untrue.
The passport is issued to applicants (does that mean people who don't hold a passport are not citizens?) for a limited time (does that mean, that holders loose their citizenship unless they renew it?), provided certain underlying conditions are fulfilled (documentation, police verification, not holding any other citizenship, etc). But of course, you know it all.
@VoiceOfTribals_ Since he is so adamant on showing how good China is, I would like to request him to make a video sitting openly in China, trying to pull down the Chinese government, exercising his FoE. And then if he survives after a week, come to India & do a press conference.
Nopes... many documents are issued with the basis that you are a citizen, and if for any reasons, that basis is not validated or untrue, then all of the documents are invalidated as well.
It is like, you are given a loan basis you showing that you are financially viable, through documents & references that you submit. But having a loan is not an automatic understanding that you are financially viable at that instant.
