@LadyChuan For some people, but there are multiple reasons:
1. It came earlier, fewer people vaccinated
2. Mutated more severe H3N2 flu strain, vaccine less effective
The immune dysregulation that can happen with COVID isn’t immune amnesia (like measles). It doesn’t “erase immune memory”

@GhostOfSocrates Um, no they won’t. How many more years until you doomsday cultists realize and accept that you’re wrong? It’s beyond pathetic how you people are grasping at straws.
This is what you people sound like:
@JamesThrot The amount of non-scientific “vibes” nonsense in this thread of tweets is astounding. None of the claims about population-level neurocognitive or neurotransmitter changes has any actual support in the scientific literature. Don’t trust neuropathologists to explain psychology.
@drseanmullen If you really want to get people to take notice, demonstrate culture of viable SC2 from that isolated platelet fraction.
You probably need to contract a BSL-3 capable lab to do it, but you only need a reliable demonstration, not ongoing cultures on every specimen.
@BirdieBittern A family in my circle lost their previously healthy 10-yr old to an 'unknown medical incident' this week. This is becoming heart-breakingly common.
@ziontree Except there is no "recent cognitive decline". And the amount of time people spend on social media has significantly increased post-2020. Interesting how you people never acknowledge that.
