You will not use a tragedy in my hometown, in my dad's childhood neighborhood, as a Republican talking point you fucking grifter. You party will fix nothing and you know it
The most annoying people on the planet aren't even the propagandists, it's all of these "I'm so above it" idiots that swim in the middle and fall for the slop.
Person A engages in non-stop drama slop ALL DAY, meaning Person B is forced to respond, otherwise crazy statements and allegations will permeate the entire media ecosystem they exist in.
Person B responds to Person A, then all of a sudden you get these midwit Person C's (in this case, @steady_drumbeat) who wade into the mess and immediately "both sides" the entire situation, not realizing that if Person B stops responding, Person A "wins" the narrative, whereas if Person A were to stop, the entire media ecosystem could go back to being about actual news/facts, and not the drama slop that Person A condemns us to exist in.
I have no idea how to deal with these "Person C's" that come in and "both sides" every single thing, it's always the same, braindead responses that refuse to engage with the reality of the eco system:
"oh, so just bcuz they act bad, u have to act bad?"
"well cant u just be better than them?"
"why do u let them dictate how u act?"
"well both of u r contributing to it"
"why would he stop when u do the same thing?"
Again, he gets graded on a curve. Dude is losing his shit because a reporter pushes back a bit on his lies, and he loses his temper, insults her, and walks out of the interview. And yet, he keeps being presented as a sane and normal person.
I know as an entitled narcissist nepo baby that was handed everything in life it's probably hard for you to understand the basic concept that support is usually a two-way street. If you do nothing but attack someone they're probably not going to support you nor should they.
A student confronts Ana Kasparian, co-host of The Young Turks, on how its name is derived from the coalition in The Ottoman Empire who conducted a genocide of Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks.
Ana and other co-hosts decide to air a commercial break while they remove the student
@UtahFlatRanger The worst part is the comments for this video are filled with people thinking this is ok? The number of chauvinistic losers is staggering, dangerous, and disgusting.
Oh cool, I see we casually have an "enemies of the administration" list for people in the media now, hosted using my taxpayer money on the White House website.
Looking forward to all of the libertarian and "free speech" types to take a strong position on this!
@dpakman, @EdKrassen and @briantylercohen are the first three listed.
With the shooting in Toledo, Ohio - it might be a good time to point out that since Trump’s 2nd term: Republicans introduced zero gun reform bills, despite almost 600 mass shootings - while introducing over 800 restrictive voting bills, despite only 40 cases of voter fraud.
Everything I’m about to say is a fact:
8 of the last 9 recessions were preceded by an oil price shock.
7 of the last 8 recessions happened under a Republican president.
Today, we have both.
Remember that recent viral tweet that was like "environmentalism is conservative now", and every second headline since then is some variation of "republicans to allow national park to be reduced to smouldering wasteland"
The reason housing prices are so high and young people can’t buy a starter home is because there’s not enough homes.
Remember this vote, next time they try to blame this problem on immigrants.
