Our discussions focused on accelerating the implementation of the CAADP Kampala Declaration, promoting agricultural industrialization, enhancing value chains, expanding climate-resilient agriculture, and exploring opportunities for impactful projects, including the castor oil value chain in Botswana. We also underscored the importance of translating commitments into tangible results that benefit communities across Africa through stronger partnerships and increased participation of Member States.

I commend Botswana's commitment to agricultural development and look forward to working together to deliver practical, people-centred solutions that contribute to food security, economic growth, and the realization of Agenda 2063.

This signature reflects a strong commitment to the collective aspirations of our continent and reinforces our shared responsibility to safeguard Africa's maritime domain.

The African Union Commission remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting all Member States in this process as we work together to build a secure, resilient, and prosperous maritime future for Africa.
