As Bobby Seagull says, all publicly funded bodies should be subject to inspection. So where's OfMP grading our MPs as Outstanding, Requires Improvement or Inadequate? #bbcaq
@Tesco Remember that promise you used to have: if queues were longer than 2, you’d open more checkouts? Now at Acre Lane Tesco the queues loop around 2 aisles and there are still unmanned tills…and it’s like this every Sunday
@BBCNews@BBCRadio4 The error in this afternoon's commentary has been repeated in later news broadcasts. The King was not in the uniform of a Field Marshal in today's procession: it was the uniform of a Marshall of the RAF.
@staffdb66@Hookean1 No issue with grade boundaries at A level unless numbers are very low (under 500 gets tricky). Almost all candidates will have prior attainment data from GCSE (and KS2) so modelling expected outcomes reasonably straightforward.
@BulbUK Really? Site maintenance since 4pm this afternoon? If you had time to give me a courtesy call this morning, you should have time to take my meter reading now...
@LNER Why do you issue eTickets as PDFs, but not accept eTickets in the same format when requesting a refund or credit voucher? Bad enough being ill in bed and trying to cancel Christmas plans without having to find an online PDF to JPG converter...
@jeremymarchant @catrionalewis And here's me thinking that the Proms was already the biggest commissioner of brand new works - from UK and world composers - through the whole season. And that includes the Last Night e.g. Harrison Birtwistle's 'Panic'.
@greateranglia Cedric the crocodile was accidentally left on the 1400 from Norwich to Liverpool St on Tuesday. I've tried Liverpool St lost property but no sign yet :( Anything else I can try to get him back to his upset owner?
@cfc_isaksson @The_Zenith_3 @Tim_R_Dawson Exactly: this won't have been a BLM issue - it will have been a load of Karens and millenials, just as the anti-statue brigades are.
