@chloelbsu I completely agree, these conversations are essential when it comes to growing as people. These things are necessary to talk about because they are important to not just certain people but everyone.
@irissbus I haven't really seen too many of these videos but they definitely seem very interesting. The concept itself is 100% something that I find intriguing and I'm excited to see what happens and how the story develops.
@adrianaoroozco I feel like they are definitely overextending and aren't prepared to do this. This decision could cause many problems and not to mention how much money would have to be spent. This definitely is not going to go well for the company or Zuckerberg.
@Logan14997754@Digiday I agree, I wish this had happened at least a little bit sooner. I'm glad that it is happening now, but with all of the controversy about misinformation recently it would have served a great purpose in the past as well as now.

This man has caused enough problems in the past year to last a life time and I honestly think he enjoys being the center of controversy. Have to respect A-Rod, but he will miss football games because he's unvaccinated and got Covid. Thoughts?
@Logan14997754 I agree elected officials have those jobs for a reason and need to understand what is important when it comes to youth safety and even safety in general.
@irissbus Probably won't be tipping any TikTokers anytime soon especially because the tipping aspect of TikTok is only for certain users and the platform is 100% gaining some kind of profit from these tips.
@iamfrankielerma I completely agree and I feel like other platforms are used by the younger generation and Facebook is used more by the older generation. Other platforms are just as responsible as Facebook is.
@Logan14997754@Digiday I completely agree privacy online is a difficult topic to discuss especially these days. Also, the fact that they could hire people who may not be qualified is crazy to think about.
@irissbus I honestly don't know if it will launch, but the fact that it might happen is a crazy thing to me. There would definitely be a lot they have to figure out with how the app works but it's definitely an interesting topic.
@adrianaoroozco I believe it is really important that we teach the younger generation the negative effects. Social media is a big part of the younger generation now and they should know how toxic it really is.
@chloelbsu I wasn't really expecting it to be a big change, but it's good to know they were trying to change something to affect the app in a positive way. Unfortunately, it was very unlikely that it was going to work the way that they wanted it to.
@iamfrankielerma I didn't even realize some social media platforms help people with their mental health. I've always been under the impression that social media apps don't help your mental health, but it's good to see that some apps can actually help.
@irissbus I think this would be a very interesting feature because it can't really be used in a bad way. Also, the fact that they are even attempting to make Twitter a better platform is a good sign for the app itself and social media in general.
@Logan14997754 I believe that social media has more freedom than journalism, but they can both benefit from one another as well. I think that implied rules would be a major change and could affect many people differently.
@irissbus I wish this was surprising to me but TikTok creates crazy trends and this trend is just the latest in a long line of weird and unorthodox ones.
@iamfrankielerma I agree and this has been a problem for a while because these apps tend to become popular because of certain features like snapchat stories or instagram likes and when they copy each other it just becomes boring to be on the app.
