Deeply alarming news from @IDBI_Bank

Within a single week, two Grade-B officers,Shri C.S. Vijaya Ragavan (51) & Shri Biju Dev V. (36) tragically lost their lives.

Both reportedly faced extreme business pressure and had genuine transfer requests on medical grounds denied.

​A fair, time-bound inquiry must be conducted to ensure accountability.

Why are so many people from the banking industry dying by suicide?

This is a very serious issue that needs more discussion and attention.

Authorities and banks must take concrete steps to help employees cope with stress and, more importantly, address the workplace pressures that create such extreme stress in the first place.

Employee well-being cannot be ignored.

Deaths due to transfer are common now a days in banks . Who cares.

One was just 36. Posted 1,300 km from home. Medical papers given. Request ignored. Died alone at Sirsi.

Another was 51. Died in his sleep on the train. Family left behind.

Empathic HR must be rewarded.

@DFS_India says IDBI is private. DIPAM is busy selling it. RBI classified it private. PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY targets are still real.

No one cares for a banker’s death or even for banks... It is not a headline. Just agony.

🚨 Two Grade B Officers in IDBI Bank passed away in just one Week due to Toxic Work Culture.

👉 One officer was posted in Audit Department. He requested he was suffering from medical issues and can't travel. But bank management did not listen. He passed away in Train.

👉 Another employee was living alone. He was posted in rural area without medical facility. He requested Bank management to post in area where hospitals are available but management did not listen. His health deteriorated and he passed away.

ज्ञानेश कुमार पर सिर्फ़ ग़द्दार वोट-चोर ही नहीं बल्कि सड़क-चोर भी है।

2006 में जब ये केरल में PWD Secretary था, तब भी इस पर एक सड़क परियोजना में भ्रष्टाचार और रिश्वत के गंभीर आरोप लगे थे। मलेशियाई इंजीनियर Lee See Been की सुसाइड नोट में भी ज्ञानेश कुमार का नाम था। लेकिन इस केस की
जांच ही आगे नहीं बढ़ायी गई।

अगर इस सांप का फ़न तब ही कुचल दिया गया होता तो आज ये इस देश के करोड़ों वोटरों को नहीं डस रहा होता।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज जस्टिस उज्ज्वल भुइयां ने कहा है कि अगर किसी प्रक्रिया से लाखों भारतीय अपने ही देश में वोट के अधिकार से वंचित हो जाएँ तो ये प्रक्रिया मनमानी है और इसे किसी भी तरह की बहानेबाजी से जायज नहीं ठहराया जा सकता।

ज्ञानेस कुमार को उन सारी रिपोर्ट को पढ़ना चाहिए, जो SIR को लेकर छपी हैं। बाकी दोनों आयुक्तों को भी बुलाकर पढ़ाना चाहिए। आज संडे है। इस्तीफ़ा दे देना चाहिए। ठीक है संविधान में लिखा है कि चुनाव आयुक्त को सरकार नहीं हटा सकती। महाभियोग मुश्किल है। SIR को लेकर जो ख़बरें छपी हैं, वो तो ग़लत नहीं हैं। क्या उन ख़बरों को आयोग नकार पाया? एक भी ख़बर के संदर्भ में छपा हुआ बयान जारी कर पाया कि ग़लत हैं? इसीलिए तीनों चुनाव आयुक्तों को इस्तीफ़ा देना चाहिए और संसद मार्ग थाने जाकर ख़ुद अर्ज़ी देनी चाहिए कि हमारे ख़िलाफ़ FIR कीजिए और जाँच कीजिए। चुनाव आयोग शर्मनाक आयोग बन चुका है। इस्तीफ़ा नहीं देंगे तो जनता आपको भारत का मुख्य शर्मनाक आयुक्त कहेगी। अगर लगता है कि आप सही हैं तो सामने आकर कह दीजिए। दिल्ली पुलिस के पीछे मत छुपिए।
