₹250 for a 2 km ride in Pune, and the auto driver refused to go by the meter.
This kind of overcharging and refusal to use the meter has become a serious issue for commuters. I wonder is it even a public transport..

Street lights near Turbhe Bridge (Savita Chemicals diversion) are switched off after I raised concerns about chemical air pollution in the Turbhe–Koparkhairane area. Turning off lights won’t hide pollution. Authorities must act@NMMConline #T20WC#Turbhe#NaviMumbai#AirPollution

The distance is barely 700 meters, yet the building is almost invisible. Eyes burn, breathing gets difficult. This isn’t normal pollution, it’s negligence. Thank you for the pollution.
Navi Mumbai is now a gas chamber..

Koparkhairane → Turbhe at night is not “pollution”… it’s chemical gas.
Eyes burn, smell is harsh, and it feels toxic to breathe.
This needs immediate action before it turns into a health disaster.
Is Mumbai going the Delhi way?
Air quality across MMR has worsened within just the first 4 days of 2026.
Nerul, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Byculla all slipping into moderate to poor AQI territory.
Construction dust, traffic emissions, weak winds, and zero enforcement are piling up exactly how Delhi’s crisis started years ago.
And the most worrying part is, this is January, not peak winter.
There’s heavy smog in Navi Mumbai right now, and it reeks of industrial pollution like a chemical leak. Who exactly are we supposed to complain to? How is it so damn easy for factories to poison the air we breathe

A huge crowd has been seen settled on footpaths of Juinagar, sector 25 near railway colony/ Bharat society.
These people are urinating, littering and pooping on the footpath. This is raising a security and health concern for the locals.
@Central_Railway@Navimumpolice 🚨Illegal slum built near Uran railway line in front of my family mem’s apartment. Open urination causing foul stench, health hazard & security risk. Request urgent removal of this encroachment. 📍18.9655089, 73.0182169
