This year’s theme, “Forests and Food,” highlights how forests provide food, support livelihoods, and ensure food security for millions.

From fruits, nuts, and leaves to honey and medicinal plants, forests offer diverse food resources, particularly for indigenous and local communities. They also maintain soil health, regulate water cycles, and support pollinators — essential for agricultural productivity.

But here is a unique thing to share today. Only plaque in world dedicated to #sparrow is in Ahmedabad. Dedicated to a sparrow that died in March of 1974 in police firing. People are beautiful !!
