I pitched an Open Space session on diversity in tech which prompted great discussions on challenges faced by underrepresented groups, how to appeal to underrepresented groups when hiring and the language ('guys'!) that can discrimnate against different genders. #DevOpsDaysEdi
I also recommended @kecatlin and @betterallies 'Better Allies' book. It's full of great advice on how to be a good ally. As well as giving me confidence to implement the advice, it has also given me confidence to speak to others about the issue at conferences etc. #DevOpsDaysEdi
