We joined the @NCSLorg at their Legislative Summit to discuss food safety and the @RFSCollab with legislators. We discussed how foodborne outbreaks impact retail foods and shared the Collaborative toolkit to encourage states to adopt more recent versions of the food code.
We were at the Senate earlier this week to discuss CDC NCEH funding with Senate Appropriations chairs Sen. @lisamurkowski and Sen. @PattyMurray, and the importance of including the environmental health workforce in PH Loan Forgiveness with the office of @SenBooker.
