Further, we leveraged that $50k to fund the renovation and activation of a property that had sat vacant for over 40 years. This investment likely spurred additional investment in the neighborhood, such as @Ford's recently announced ~$1B renovation of the Michigan Central Station

With that $50k we went onto build a business that employed over 25 people - over half of whom were from the City of Detroit. Every employee made at least $15/hr and some made closer to $30/hr. And, yet, somehow we still managed to keep our price for a bagel and cream cheese at $3
