call me crazy but what I see here is a manifestation of perhaps the most ambitious generation of all time at a moment where excitement and opportunity have never been higher. YC has become the most recognizable startup accelerator on the planet and of course it was going to evolve from how it was 10 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of kids tour stanford each year - kinda same thing no?
One thought that stuck with me from YC Startup School:
@sama and @garrytan talked about how much criticism people receive when they put themselves out there.
Chile has a strong culture of tearing people down. Read the comments on @DFinanciero posts about entrepreneurs: “they got lucky,” “they had connections,” “it’ll never work.”
We need to change that.
Even during the World Cup, so many Chileans wanted Argentina to lose. Lame!
Abundance and prosperity for all of LATAM. The day we stop rooting against each other is the day we’ll have a real chance.

@JayKapoorNYC While I see where you’re coming from, there’s also a ton of builders who want to make a better future, and are actually building towards it :)
