Goldman Sachs has spent two years pushing AI out to its roughly 46,000 employees, not just its 12,000 engineers
The approach used several model providers at once: an in-house assistant built on models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Alphabet, plus Anthropic's Claude Code and Microsoft's GitHub for bankers who wanted to build their own tools
As recently as July, CIO Marco Argenti was promoting "vibe coding" by traders and bankers, who built tools with AI and passed them to engineers to finish
In October, Goldman reversed course. Per reporting from Bloomberg, updated internal guidance now limits Claude Code and GitHub to engineers after a review of productivity and risk, and some traders are frustrated
A week before the story ran, Anthropic filed publicly for its IPO with Goldman as one of two lead underwriters
Here are the five moves that took Goldman from vibe coding to engineers only
1. GS AI Assistant
In June 2025, Goldman took its internal chatbot firmwide after a pilot with about 10,000 users, out of a workforce of roughly 46,500
The assistant runs inside Goldman's compliance perimeter and gives staff access to models including ChatGPT and Gemini
Argenti rolled out GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist, and Goldman became the first major bank to use Cognition's autonomous coding agent, Devin
By August 2026, hundreds of Devin agents were working alongside roughly 12,000 human developers, and Argenti said the deployment could grow into the thousands
2. Claude in the back office
In February, Argenti told CNBC that Anthropic engineers had been embedded inside Goldman for six months, building autonomous agents on Claude
The first targets were trade and transaction accounting and client vetting and onboarding.
3. Hong Kong
In late April, the Financial Times reported that Goldman had cut off Anthropic's models for its Hong Kong bankers
Staff there had used Claude through the bank's internal AI platform and had lost access in the preceding weeks
The FT said the cause was a strict reading of Goldman's contract with Anthropic, made after consulting the company.
Anthropic told the FT that Claude had never been officially supported in Hong Kong
Gemini and ChatGPT stayed on the platform, so the restriction applied to Claude only and was not a ban on AI
4. Nvidia and Anthropic
While the internal rules were tightening, Goldman's AI banking business was growing
It is underwriting Anthropic's IPO and helping Nvidia arrange large debt deals
In August, Nvidia signed memoranda of understanding with KKR, Goldman, Brookfield, Blackstone, BlackRock and Apollo to set up compute financing platforms
The goal is to bring in more than $500 billion of outside capital over time. Solomon has said Jensen Huang brought the idea to Goldman
On October 26, Anthropic filed to list on Nasdaq under ANT, with Goldman and Morgan Stanley as lead underwriters
IFR reported the offering could raise $75 billion to $100 billion through a syndicate of more than 20 banks
5. Engineers only
The October guidance limits Claude Code and GitHub to engineers. Strats, who work across trading, quant research and engineering, are exempt
Traders had been using the tools to monitor client trading flows, model market moves and positions, and produce written and graphic content, according to a person familiar with the matter cited by Bloomberg
A Goldman spokesperson said the bank makes AI tools available across the firm to find use cases
After a trial period weighing productivity and risk, it gives them to the people best placed to use them long term
Bloomberg noted that banks are spending millions of dollars on AI tools while also managing cybersecurity risk, cost and productivity
Non-engineers who relied on Claude Code or GitHub now need to request other tools or use the GS AI Assistant instead
That leaves Claude Code with roughly 26% of Goldman's headcoun

Someone needs to stop Claude Opus 5.5. It turned one picture into a robot octopus I can take apart piece by piece.
i just said "make the model" and what came back floored me.
the build:
> the picture set the look, every petal, lens and link is three.js code
> opus rendered one still next to the picture and fixed the gaps for 3 rounds before it touched the film
> the first pass looked like a toy, so it went back and packed 202 links and 480 wheels into 8 arms
> every arm is one draw call, posed every frame by walking its chain of bends
> something opens every 2-3 seconds: the lens unscrews, the mantle hinges, the pump rises out spinning
> at 0:16 the whole thing blows apart on a 330° turntable and reassembles before the turn ends
25 seconds, 2,616 lines of code and one octopus that leaves the frame on its own.

I just reverse-engineered CCleaner / CleanMyMac with Opus 5.5 for Mac & Windows PC
this is insane...
one tap → 14.6 GB of junk gone. fully open-source and free.
here’s the build step by step:
• step 1 → open Claude Code on Opus 5.5 in an empty folder, paste the prompt below + a few CleanMyMac screenshots
• step 2 → Opus didn’t start coding. it drew 9 UI concepts on a canvas first.
i picked one, it rebuilt the fonts, icons and glass buttons until it looked like Apple made it
• step 3 → i sent it a random video of smoky gradients.
Opus turned it into a live WebGL shader: “cosmic wind” rising behind the scan result
• step 4 → stack: one Electron + React codebase that runs on macOS and Windows
• step 5 → Opus split the build across 8 parallel agents.
one wrote the junk scanner, one the disk map, one the AI assistant, one the tips & feedback screens, one the installers
• step 6 → a separate safety agent attacked every line that deletes something.
it caught a Windows short-name trick (DOCUME~1) that could’ve sent my whole Documents folder to the Recycle Bin. and an icon loader that could leak my Windows password hash to a remote machine
• step 7 → the disk map is a physics toy: drag a folder bubble, throw it, watch it bump the others
• step 8 → built-in AI: plug in Claude or ChatGPT and ask “what can i safely delete?”
it only sees file names and sizes, never contents
• step 9 → GitHub Actions builds the .dmg and the .exe on every release.
the Mac build runs on Apple hardware in the cloud, not on my PC
• step 10 → first real test: the startup-apps toggle said “Windows did not allow the change”
Opus found PowerShell was losing the exit code after the admin prompt, made the app check the registry instead. next build: works
one afternoon. zero lines written by me. 14.6 GB freed on the first click. that’s it...

THIS IS ACTUAL F*CKING GOLD
Anthropic just shared one of the best tricks for Claude Code.
The idea: run Sonnet, Haiku and Opus 5.5 together, each one doing only the job it's best at.
Opus-level judgment on every big call, without paying Opus rates for every routine turn.
You just launch Claude Code like this:
claude --model sonnet --advisor opus
here's the split:
→ Sonnet 5.5 runs the session and writes the code
→ Haiku 5.5 explores files and docs in parallel
→ Opus 5.5 stays on call as advisor for the big calls
→ you stop spending Opus on work that doesn't need it
Opus only steps in at three moments:
→ before a plan locks
→ when the same error shows up twice
→ before calling it done
Sonnet builds. Haiku explores. Opus reviews.
JEV engineering is the same move one layer down: the forks that need no thinker (which file, which tool, retry or stop) go to JEV in milliseconds, and the big models only see the ones that split
the full tree
> Sonnet 5.5 runs the main session and edits code
> search maps the repo on Haiku 5.5
> grep finds call sites on Haiku 5.5
> docs pulls the API reference on Haiku 5.5
> Opus 5.5 on call as advisor, reads the whole transcript when consulted
> JEV routes micro-forks in milliseconds
paste the tree and this prompt into Claude Code ↓
"Rebuild my Claude Code setup around this tree:
1. Run the main session on Sonnet 5.5 with Opus 5.5 as advisor.
2. Create three read-only Haiku 5.5 subagents: search (maps the repo), grep (finds call sites), docs (pulls the API reference).
3. Add one rule to CLAUDE.md: consult the advisor before locking a plan, after the same error twice, and before calling a task done.
4. Route fast deterministic forks (tool choice, path selection, retries) through JEV.
Show me every change as a diff first. No edits until I say go."

save it, you'll use this every single day.

I've seen a few people struggling to manage multiple projects with Grok Bot.
Here's the setup I'd recommend after working through it with my Bot team.
The secret is to stop using chats as your project management system.
Instead, use Grok Bot's Pages feature.
One Page per project. One routine to keep it updated. Every Bot reads the Page before starting work and updates it when finished.
Here's the exact setup you can copy.
Paste this into your Chief of Staff:
"Set up a Page-based project management system for my Grok Bot team.
1: PROJECT PAGES - Create one Page for each project, containing its goal, current status, next actions, task owners, deadlines, decisions, blockers and an update log showing which Bot changed what.
2: MASTER INDEX - Create a Projects Page listing every active project, its status and the next action. This becomes my single place to see what's happening across all projects.
3: READ FIRST, UPDATE LAST - Every Bot must read the relevant project Page before starting work and update that same Page when finished. Never create duplicate Pages. Don't mark work complete without checking the actual result.
4: SHORT CHATS - Use fresh chats for individual tasks instead of maintaining one enormous project conversation. The Page holds the project history, decisions and context.
5: DAILY HEARTBEAT - Create one weekday routine per project. Check relevant sources such as email, GitHub, Notion or calendars, verify progress and update the project Page and master index.
6: EXCEPTION REPORTING - Only notify me when something is blocked, overdue, needs my decision or changes status. Otherwise, keep the Pages updated without interrupting me.
7: PROJECT CLOSURE - When a project finishes, mark it Closed, record the outcome and lessons learned, and pause its heartbeat routine.
Never send, purchase, publish or delete anything without my approval. Clearly flag anything unverified.
Before creating anything, show me the proposed projects, their information sources and the routines you'll establish. Wait for my approval."
My recommendation?
Start with one project for seven days.
If your Bots keep its Page current and you no longer need to dig through old conversations to understand what's happening, expand it to the rest.
Your chats are for doing the work. Your Pages are for remembering and managing it.

Evals are the most underrated skill in AI engineering.
1. Start with error analysis, not metrics
Sample 100+ production traces. Annotate each failure in free text (open coding), then cluster them into failure categories (axial coding). Count frequency per category. Your top 3 categories are your first metrics.
2. Build a versioned golden dataset
Store inputs, expected outputs or rubrics, and metadata (intent, difficulty, user segment) in a versioned dataset. Stratify it so rare but critical cases aren't drowned out by easy ones. Version it alongside your prompts so every score is reproducible.
3. Generate synthetic data along explicit dimensions
Don't just ask an LLM for "test questions." Define dimensions (persona × intent × complexity × edge case), generate combinations as tuples, then turn each tuple into a natural input. You get coverage instead of 200 near-identical examples.
4. Deterministic assertions first
JSON schema validation, regex checks, required fields, length limits, code execution, SQL that actually runs against a test DB. These are cheap, fast, and have zero variance. Reserve model-based grading for what code genuinely can't check.
5. Evaluate retrieval separately from generation
For RAG, measure retrieval with recall@k, MRR, or nDCG against labeled relevant chunks. Measure generation with faithfulness (is every claim supported by retrieved context?). If you only score the final answer, you can't tell which half is broken.
6. Trajectory evals for agents
Log every step: tool name, arguments, result, tokens. Score tool-call precision and recall against a reference path, argument correctness, step count, and error recovery. An agent that reaches the right answer in 14 calls when 3 would do is a cost and latency bug.
7. pass@k vs pass^k
pass@k = succeeded at least once in k runs. pass^k = succeeded in all k runs. At 80% per-run success, pass^5 drops to roughly 33%. Production reliability lives in pass^k, so run each case multiple times at your real temperature.
8. Simulated users for multi-turn
Give an LLM a persona, a hidden goal, and constraints, then let it converse with your system until the goal is met or a turn limit hits. Grade goal completion, turns-to-resolution, and policy violations. Single-turn evals miss most state and memory bugs.
9. Align your LLM judge like a classifier
Hand-label 100+ examples as pass/fail. Split into train/dev/test. Iterate on the judge prompt using dev, then report TPR and TNR on test. Use binary outputs with a written rubric, require a short critique before the verdict, and pin the judge model version.
10. Control judge bias in pairwise comparisons
LLM judges have position bias and often prefer longer answers. Run every A/B comparison twice with swapped order and only count consistent verdicts. Normalize or cap length if verbosity is skewing results.
11. Respect statistics
With 100 examples at 80% accuracy, your 95% confidence interval is about ±8 points. A jump from 80% to 83% is probably noise. Use bootstrapped confidence intervals, or a paired test on the same examples, before declaring a win.
12. Gate deploys in CI
Run the eval suite on every PR that touches prompts, models, tools, or retrieval config. Set per-category thresholds instead of one global score, so a big win in one area can't hide a regression in another. Fail the build on a regression.
13. Online evals in production
Sample a percentage of live traffic, run your judges asynchronously, and alert on drift per failure category. Use shadow deployments to run a new prompt or model on real traffic without showing users the output.
14. Make cost and latency first-class metrics
Track tokens per request, cost per successful task (not per call), and p50/p95 latency next to quality. A change that keeps quality flat while cutting cost 40% is a real win and deserves to ship.
15. Close the loop
Every production failure becomes a new labeled test case. Every new model release gets run against the full suite before anyone debates switching. Over time your eval set becomes the most valuable asset in the codebase.
Prompts are disposable. Models get replaced every few months.
Your eval infrastructure is what compounds.

RIP to everyone who spent years learning 3D in Blender 💀
Hi3D just released an open-source model that turns any object from a photo into a full 3D model.
It's trained on 2 million 3D assets, and in their technical report 90% of its models pass 3D-print slicing.
Just generate the base from a photo, refine the details with Opus 5.5 and you're done.
The barrier to 3D just disappeared, you can find more details in the article below:
ChatGPT Pro 구독자 API 크레딧
월 최대 $500 받을 수 있음
오늘부터 신청이 열렸다고 함
앱이랑 에이전트 만드는 용도임
1. Pro는 등급별로 월 $100, $200, $500
2. Business는 Standard 좌석당 $20
Premium

Codex
4. try/catch

Found the fix!
Codex writes code 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆. Even a tiny change gets null checks at every layer.
Spell it out for Codex: check data once where it comes in, then just use it. Write one-off logic right where it's used instead of splitting it into a function ahead of time. Skip try/catch wherever you can.
The team behind a 𝟮𝟮𝟬𝗞-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 open-source coding agent on GitHub wrote these rules into their own AGENTS.md. Copy them straight into yours 👇
- Validate unknown values once at the boundary that owns them. Pass typed values inward instead of repeating `typeof value === "object"` and property-existence checks.
- Do not defensively revalidate values already guaranteed by a schema, constructor, or internal type.
- Do not extract single-use helpers preemptively. Inline the logic at the call site unless the helper is reused, hides a genuinely complex boundary, or has a clear independent name that improves the caller.
- Avoid `try`/`catch` where possible
