@lucatimusic Jonathan Shots in 1846. The bar business wasnt profiting because whenever there was a scuffle entire bottles would be thrown, and glasses would be the same problem. He started using empty 12 guage cartridges (also why theyre called shots) to divide up bottles.

@jonaheapen98 @gabor I want to echo other opinions here. Building a single instance clone is trivial. Building a distributed webapp which can handle very high fanouts which is resilient to large traffic spikes requires some serious expertise

@danfurst @AirCanada The demand for air travel is so high right now, that segment (which probably isn’t very large tbh) isn’t consequential to Air Canada. You’ll just have to do your own risk assessment now to see if flying is worth it for you
