Eid Mubarak!
Today as we honor Prophet Ibrahim, Eid al-Adha reminds us that sacrifice is not a burden. It is an opportunity to see ourselves as part of something larger. To extend a hand to those who need it most.
I am honored to be New York City's first Muslim Mayor and I am determined to lead through solidarity. Together, we are working to ensure every New Yorker can afford the groceries, housing, and child care they need.
Our solidarity is our strength. Eid Saeed, New York.
I also don’t want anyone to forget how at the end of last season all the people who talk on TV and on the net put the pressure on Arteta saying “he has to win the league this year” such a wild thing to say but he’s shut everyone up with the mentality he’s built there, especially when they would have all got the flamethrowers out if he didn’t do it this year, don’t let anyone pretend they wouldn’t love him as there manager
this set of players have shown some big hearts and quality! The day Arsenal went and got Declan Rice was the day they were going to compete yearly for the title! Gabriel and Saliba been the best partnership for a few years and Saka has been the starboy we all know he is! What a day what a moment….I was still wearing Wallabees in school kicking ball last time I got to celebrate 😂🏆 #Arsenal 👏🏿
Novak Djokovic on the Balkans:
“What’s negative is how divided we are. We’re all neighbors. We shouldn’t be fighting. We should be helping each other so we all live better lives.”

🗣 Jamie Carragher: "It's just Arsenal. Weak. Bullied. Men against boys again. New season, same old story."
Arsenal succumbed to a 2-0 loss to newly-promoted Brentford in their Premier League opener; Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard capitalised on poor Gunners defending.
Bellerin was seeing stars, but ref said it wasn't a foul. Not a single soul from the media called out Chelsea or Alonso. Narrative was that Arsenal are too soft and gets bullied a lot.
last week, you were told that you should support a regime change war in Iran in part to support women's rights
this week, one of Israel's "preventative" air strikes in Iran hit a girls' elementary school killing 40 little girls and counting
For every politician and journalist who supported Israel's onslaught, or stayed silent:
This photograph should haunt you for the rest of your life.
You will never scrub the shame away. No future achievement, however great, will ever erase what you helped inflict on Gaza.
. very saddened by the death of Diogo Jota and ....if anyone cares among my fellow footballers (and beyond), Palestinian footballer Muhannad Al-Lili murdered by Israel. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Rest in Peace, Diego Jota!
What you did on the football pitch, will remain eternal!
This splendid goal against Arsenal was heartbreaking at the time, but a beautiful memory now in hindsight!
Godspeed
