#UE5 You can use a ShadowPass node to render plain opaque meshes during shadow pass for your distant LOD material and increase shadow coverage at a distance and thus increase perceived grass density (and skip a texture sampler!)
This is a story about childhood and endless summer. About friendship which is forever and the feeling that yourself will be forever. The origin and the point to which we return♾

I've been struggling to simulate "light" smoke that spreads and hangs in the air like most smoke do, and I finally got somewhere. This is suprisingly hard with particles, since you don't simulate the air around it. Amazing upcoming level by @ONSVRG and lighting by @HuntingFluff
2:00 am and I'm exploding stuff. I found a way to dissolve the smoke and adapt the shadows to the new shapes (offsetting the dissolve tex with the light dir in tangent space). Next step will be to work on particles to make a true explosion!

Finally done🥳🥳. Procedural Painting Algorithm implemented in Compute Shaders in @unity3d inspired by @anastasiaopara work.
You can download the project and throw your own images in there.

It's so cool/useful and I've just noticed that many people don't know about this :p
Made a 122 page Level Design document where I gather useful senior dev knowledge.
The goal was to gather up all this knowledge in one place. Both for learning and as reference.
Hopefully people find it useful and any feedback is welcome 😄
