Week 33: Email sequences - example where it really helps knowing how to code + sell 🔥
Spent a lot of time researching techniques specific to each sequence:
- 🔢 # of emails in the sequence
- 💬 Key message in each email
- ⏱️ Timing the message
I knew follow up communication is essential but I didn't want to just send off 1 filler email and be done. So, took the time to research, write & rewrite copy, implement tooling and setup the sequences.
This took so much longer than I thought as I also had to create new functionality (in reporting or internal tooling) to support specific sequences like:
- ⏳9 days before subscription ends
- 🤑 Unique, user specific discount codes that expire in days
Using our drag-and-drop journey editor starts with knowing how to configure the entry node, which determines what conditions a user must satisfy to enter the journey.
To try it out, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll send you an access token. To read more about how it works, checkout our full v0.22.0 release post: https://t.co/Xg433NdXUO
Multi-tenancy in Dittofeed means running multiple workspaces from a single instance. It lets you keep team-level or client-level data isolated while still managing everything centrally.
Today we’re going public with dittofeed-ee (enterprise edition), a closed source Dittofeed extension with support for both multi-tenancy and authenticating dashboard members separately. Now it’s available for everyone!
Wait For journey nodes wait for a user to enter a segment, with some timeout.
A Wait For node has two branches: one for when the user enters the segment, and one for when the timeout is reached.
Below is a short tutorial on how to use Wait For nodes to automate emails.

(Note: you'll first need to create a Dittofeed Cloud account and integrate a messaging provider like @postmarkapp, @resend, or Amazon SES)
Broadcasts are used for sending one-off messaging campaigns like newsletters, product updates, event fliers, and more.
Here's a quick guide on sending a broadcast with Dittofeed ⤵️
Just dropped a new free MJML template in our docs! This is a product release template that we use at Dittofeed. Adjust styling, images, etc. to suit your needs: https://t.co/jLDonKtax0
We have many users in health and education that needed the ability to dynamically assign their customers to groups. For instance, family members of patients or student need to be assigned to a group for that patient or student.
