@2closetocall There can be no "official" candidate until the Liberal Party's Executive Council officially "calls" the leadership race, which is not expected to happen until after the party's AGM next March. In the meantime, several individuals are "exploring" a run for the leadership.

@craignorriscbc @Alesselm @CBCKW891 It's broader than just Waterloo Region. There's no Cabinet representation for all of Southwestern Ontario, an area with 23 ridings, 2.6m people, 5% of the Liberal caucus. This is the first time in decades that SW Ontario hasn't had a seat at the Cabinet table.
