@therealhostman@KatParmar I don’t think many of these people get that junior doctors are leaving as they are not being treated as a professional. They cannot afford to live. The pension scheme is essentially a compulsory element opting out is not an option. There will not be enough doctors.
Tomorrow, junior doctors will strike. A full 72 hr walkout
It isn’t the first time I have striked as a dr; I didn’t think there would be a second time post-2016, but here we are. I’m so glad and so proud ✊🏻
The decision wasn’t easy.
However, it is the RIGHT one.
Let us unite.
@dremmaw @BMA_JuniorDocs I’m so shocked people are so negative. This is over 20 years ago and even if the current junior wanted to work 80hrvweeks they couldn’t. The cost of living has skyrocketed. They get no free accommodation. It’s just appalling that these talented people are not rewarded.
I can only describe the new NT menu as beige. There are no balanced diets here or healthy options today at Knightshayes, what are they doing? #unhealthyfood@nationaltrust @NTknightshayes
I’m off on maternity leave for a year soon. There is an opportunity for a paediatric anaesthetist consultant locum for a year. Find it at https://t.co/Lb600PNJd8 if you want a good team working with children in the southwest please apply. #plymouthchildrenstheatres
PEACHY, another fruitful study - ScienceDirect. Well done to the PATRN team on all this hard work. (Paediatric Anaesthetic Trainee Research Network) https://t.co/qUPYMBRC77
Well done Riley and Ben (my cousin) who have written this book together. Riley is an Austin 11 year old. An insight to the worlds inside his head. https://t.co/qnaXSwVDcY #AutismAwarenessWeek#Autism
Has a much loved teddy gone missing during a visit to us? Our team have been keeping them safe but would love to reunite them with their owners.
