@bruce_arthur She's right. There are legal implications especially in the public sector. If you keep saying the land is unceded, First Nations will come for it. Which we are now seeing. Classic FAFO!
@sbelg@SteveSaretsky Yep. Drove by a few of these and thought who would want to live in it. Each unit is only 12 feet wide or so with narrow stairs inside too. Especially funny when you think about having garbage trucks pass right next to your bedroom window.
@RVJS8@LouisaCherry19@kbolan Clearly managing money wasn't their strong suit. That's why him and/or his mom went into extreme debt and depression building their laneway house.

A few days ago I wrote a post stating that Palestine isn’t what many think. There are so many intentional distortions of history and facts being spread by propagandists and fake academics who abuse their so-called titles to disseminate the most insane lies and misinformation about all sorts of things. But with this thread I want to discuss something I’ve written about in the past, but it’s a piece of history most don’t know, everyone should know, and that the propagandists have desperately been trying to erase. I hope this thread may offer some interesting insight on why “Palestine” exists in its current fabricated form, and how it was created.
@clubsoda67@govt_corrupt When Harper did it, we recently had an election and it was just opposition policians trying to bring him down. In Trudeau's case, he's way past his expiry date and everyone wants him out!
NDP leader Singh is actually worse than Trudeau because Trudeau doesn’t know how stupid he actually is, but Singh still supports Trudeau’s incompetence.
In fact, Singh is more to blame because without his support, Trudeau would have been gone long ago.
#WATCH: Jagmeet Singh says it's time for Justin Trudeau to quit, after accusing him of putting himself first...
Even though he just voted against his own words in a non confidence motion. Sit down, Clown. Everyone knows you're a selfish, lying coward!
BREAKING: The WSJ reports that the UN’s Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide has been dismissed after refusing to say that the campaign in Gaza fits the definition of a genocide based on the evidence.
Alice Nderitu, an accomplished mediator specializing in genocide prevention, led an office that issued a guidance paper on the proper use of the term “genocide.” The paper emphasized that UN officials should “adhere to the correct usage” of the term due to its political and legal sensitivities and its frequent misuse to describe large-scale crimes against specific populations.
Nderitu, who has served at the UN since 2020, was dismissed for asserting that Israel’s war with Hamas does not constitute genocide. She explained that while the conflict has caused significant loss of life, Israel’s actions aim to dismantle a terrorist regime, not to exterminate an ethnic group. She also noted that Israel has made efforts to minimize civilian casualties, even as Hamas uses civilians as human shields to exploit their deaths for propaganda.
Her position clashes with UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s manufactured narrative.
The UN is not neutral or impartial when it comes to Israel— you can’t deny it now.
This is the border between Egypt 🇪🇬 and Gaza 🇵🇸 👇
7 layers of walls, fences, and razor wire, to make sure not a single Palestinian refugee could flee into Egypt.
Why so much hate for the Palestinians? What do the Egyptians know about them? 🤔
In 1951, Palestinians assassinated Jordanian king, Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein.
Palestinians were accepted as refugees in Lebanon following the 1948 war. Then in 1968 they started attacking the Lebanese Army and locals.
In 1970, they tried to assassinate the Jordanian king Hussein. Consequently, they were thrown out of Jordan and Syria and sent to Lebanon. (350,000 armed terrorists in total).
They kept attacking Lebanese until the war finally broke up between Lebanon and the Palestinians between 1975-1982 where they killed tens of thousands of Lebanese Christians.
In 1990 they committed atrocities against Kuwaities during the Gulf war and was not permtitted to enter Kuwait for decades.
That's why no Arab country including bordering countries like Egypt, Syria and Jordan won't accept them as refugees anymore.
Mosab Hassan Yousef (son of Hamas founder) destroys the “victim image” of Palestinian Muslims:
They sent suicide bombers to blow up crowded places in Israel, then dared to cry "apartheid” when Israel built a wall, security fences & checkpoints.
