The @usarmy Soldier and Family Readiness Groups (SFRG) play a critical role in supporting Soldiers and their Families. Today we recognized our @65MedBde SFRG Leader, Mrs.
Laura Burnett, during her final Pacific Medic SFRG Steering Committee brief with a blanket presented by 618 DC(AS) for those cool nights in @usaghawaii Hawaii (🌺) and a beautiful clock gift from the rest of the Pacific Medic's!

SFRGs are essential for maintaining the overall health, welfare, @ArmyResilience and readiness of Soldiers and their Families, ultimately contributing to the effectiveness and morale of the military force.

The team is so thankful for her compassion, leadership, guidance, care, and resolute support towards the Soldiers and Families of this outstanding community here across @EighthArmyKorea @USForcesKorea @USAGHumphreys @USAGDaegu and @USAGYongsan!

We just won the @EighthArmyKorea Area IV Overall champions with the 8A DCG-S, BG Laughman and @USAGDaegu Deputy Commander presenting our team the title trophy. It was a fierce week of physical competitions with our friends from @19thESC , @USForcesKorea , and @ROK_Army.

Our Powerhouse Soldiers and KATUSAs fight side by side - and they win. Together. This is the essence of the US-ROK Alliance. 74 years later and it’s stronger than ever!

Army Emergency Relief @aerhq is the definition of Soldiers helping Soldiers. We closed out a great PH Week with some good-ol fashioned pies in the face to raise additional funds. Our AER reps presented LTC Nussdorfer and CSM Gillispie with a check to AER for $9,168.65! Now that is @USArmy #BeAllYouCanBe worthy.

@EighthArmyKorea goal was to get over 20% of a unit to donate to AER - we are heading into the final 2 weeks at over 50% donation-levels!

@aerhq does more than just help Soldiers financially during disasters. Child car seats, appliance costs, grants, loans, and cranial helmets are just a couple of ways they help support Soldiers, Families, retirees, and veterans! Please share this post to spread the message!

Powerhouse Week has been an absolute bases loaded grand slam (with the late great @Cubs Harry Caray on the call).

Thursday night we brought 37 x children from our @USForcesKorea Good Neighbor Program partner the @daegucity053 Seogu Youth Center to join over 200 x Powerhouse Soldiers watch the @twittlions win another KBO game.

@EighthArmyKorea and @65MedBde were loud and raucous all night!

Year 74 of the ROK-US alliance…stronger than ever.

Welcome to the Korean Peninsula 883rd Combat Operational Stress Control (COSC) from the 804th Medical BDE, @USArmyReserve (Brockton, MA)!

On May 28 we had the honor of hosting a remarkable transition of leadership and to recognize the outstanding contributions of the 98th COSC from @62ndPAO. BG Crockett (@EighthArmyKorea DCG-Operations) and BG Laughman (@EighthArmyKorea DCG-Support) came out with the @65MedBde team and @USForcesKorea leaders to express our heartfelt thanks to the 98th COSC for their unwavering dedication and exceptional service in promoting behavioral health prevention across the Korean Peninsula. The 98th COSC has played an integral role in maintaining the mental resilience and well-being of @USArmy and our @thejointstaff service members and their families.

As we bid farewell to the 98th COSC, we welcome the 883rd COSC with open arms and high expectations. The 883rd COSC is set to continue this vital mission, supporting @USForcesKorea @USARPAC and @INDOPACOM with the same level of excellence and dedication to @ArmyResilience that has been demonstrated by their predecessors!

Earlier today we co-hosted a solemn @DeptofDefense Days of Remembrance and Holocaust Remembrance Day commemoration with @EighthArmyKorea @1stSigBde and @65MedBde. We were humbled to welcome the Ambassador of Israel to the Republic of Korea, the Honorable Mr. @AkivaTor as the guest speaker.

Today’s ceremony honored the survivors, paid tribute to the rescuers, and celebrated the liberators of those murdered, oppressed, and persecuted during the Holocaust. Furthermore, we were reminded why it is imperative to confront antisemitism and other forms of hate-based conduct and we are inspired to build a better future for all.

Each year the U.S. @HolocaustMuseum leads the nation in commemorating Days of Remembrance. Days or Remembrance established by the U.S. Congress to honor the lives of six million Jewish victims - as well as millions of others killed - and the heroic liberators of the Holocaust.

The DoD theme for the 2024 observance is, “Behind Every Name a Story: The Courageous.” This year’s poster honors a courageous rescuer, Adolfo Kaminsky. An Argentine-born member of the French Resistance, Kaminsky masterfully forged identification papers, passports, food ration cards, and other documents to save the lives of over 10,000 Jews, many of them children. He risked his life and his health, losing his sight in one eye, to become one of the greatest rescuers during World War II.

At the start of day 5 of the #EFMBontheDMZ, 13 remained. After 12 miles, 12 Soldiers made it in the 3-hour time limit. Congratulations to all the candidates and the 12 new badge holders! For those who didn’t get the badge, now is the time to start practicing for next year! @168thMMB @EighthArmyKorea
