The appointment of Jananayagan producer Venkat Narayana, who is from another state is not an isolated case.
Among the six sanctioned Standing Counsel posts, one remains vacant. Of the five currently serving, four are from outside Tamil Nadu.
Similarly, among the three sanctioned Additional Advocate General posts, one is held by a lawyer from Kerala, another by someone from North India, and one post remains vacant.
This raises questions about who is influencing these key legal appointments. It appears that two powerful individuals are exercising significant control over the selection.
Surprising and shocking is the appointment of Mr Venkata Narayana, the producer of Jananayakan movie and a person who hails from Karnataka as the special representative to Govt of TN at New Delhi.
The question that arises is whether he will stand, represent and voice for Megadattu dam issue in favour of Tamil Nadu . The CM of TN Mr Joseph Vijay has proclaimed loudly on the floor of the assembly that his government will not yield to Karnataka’s stand of constructing a new dam at Maegadattu across Cauvery river which would drastically affect the livelihood of the farmers in delta region. Now clarification and assurance from the government of TN is awaited by the people since the special representative appointed hails from the state of Karnataka. @mkstalin@DMKITwing

On one hand TVK government is acting against former DMK ministers for corruption charges. On the other, it is inviting AIADMK's C Vijaya Baskar. contradictory
Anti-democratic: TVK government has stopped the live telecast of Tamil Nadu Assembly proceedings. In the past two press meets, the Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar clearly hinted that there would not be live telecast of Assembly proceedings. Whenever I had a chance, I had been questioning the former Speaker M Appavu in Tirunelveli about DMK’s election promise of live-telecast. Now the new regime has also killed it.
So much for ‘transparency” and “new politics.”
People of Tamil Nadu deserve to see what their elected representatives are doing inside the Assembly. This decision is anti-democratic and a betrayal of public trust.
Education Minister @imrajmohan caught following accounts that post nude pics of women then desperately unfollowing like a pathetic rat caught in the trap.
TN’s utter downfall handing our children’s future to a porn-obsessed clown. TN is Doomed 💯 🤢

A woman who trusted your party cadre for a job opportunity was allegedly sexually assaulted by TVK MLA Saravanan! TVK preached women’s safety before elections, but now removes the victim from the party while shielding the accused MLA? Hypocrisy at its worst! @CMOTamilnadu
