A helpful term in the replies is "performative incompetence".
If they genuinely don't understand this, they are not fit to do job.
If they are pretending not to understand this, they are not fit to do job.
"It’s just that the source of illness is, in part, a story the sufferer has unconsciously learnt."
You see increasing numbers of young women using walking sticks at trans protests. This is very good by @kathleen_stock1 on what might be going on.

@Digitaltattie@andyburnham@YvetteCooperMP It will. @andyburnham - ask the Perm Sec of the DoH for an urgent note on why data on the many young people already put on these drugs has not been extracted before beginning this trial. Then ask yourself how it will look at the public inquiry to have relied on that note.
@BeatsSurrender@bennite75 You speak for about 10-15% of women. The vast majority don’t want males in their single sex spaces. You’ll be saying we should let them compete in women’s sports next.
@sean__kennedy@jk_rowling It’s amazing that you don’t. But then, you’re a bloke who obviously thinks women should just shut up and do what blokes like you tell them to do.
We wrote again late last week, setting out the steps we believe that Amnesty International UK should now take, and drawing attention to some further points that an external investigation should consider. https://t.co/PE4Cx1fVx0
@RavenNole@sphericaltime@0Calamity@thetimes It’s not restricting the rights of trans women, it’s denying them special privileges that aren’t available to non trans males. Trans people have all the same rights as everyone else but it’s the special privileges and treatment that they are demanding.
@0Calamity@thetimes So “logically” that would make trans campaigners anti women’s rights then? They are specifically trying to remove women’s rights to men/male free spaces and services.
So the trans activist and previously a candidate for Labour, ‘Heather’ Herbert, is fantasising about an elderly women being chained to her bed frame, screaming in terror while she was being murdered in her own home.
I don’t care what Ann Widdecombe’s politics were, or how much you disagreed with them. A man entered her rural home and murdered the 78 year old woman, and a man who calls himself a woman is celebrating it and fantasising about how painful it would have been.
You have to be a different level of evil misogynist to fantasise about that while simultaneously claiming to be the most vulnerable demographic in the world.
@GeraldineL43107@MDMorrison82 Why do you feel the need to apologise? The guy posting this is enjoying the moment. You would suck the fun out of every situation. It’s people like you that Scots should be apologising for.
@DanielJMath1@TheParty1sOver@JohnSwinney The ring fenced fund was raised in 2017. 2021 is when the investigation into where it went started though that uncovered the embezzlement by Murrell which took over. Swinney admitted today that it was spent on other things, so technically fraud.
@TMTLTH@pabs_cfc Watch the video. The guy is giving him the wanker sign and Shankland grabs his arm. Shouldn’t have been anywhere near him but he never attacked him.
@TootleMacFootle@DPJHodges The only evidence I’ve seen. You’d think there would be much more “evidence” showing up on SM given the statement from Hearts. https://t.co/S6UU9jSZ2m
@Hyfy19@kmckenna63@heraldscotland Absolutely prompted. They were very uncomfortable. Couldn’t answer any concerns about protecting women, male murderers in female prisons etc. Just kept saying how trans people were the most vulnerable and marginalised folks in society.
