James O’Brien obliterated Nigel Farage live on air earlier today.
Farage: “I’m the most hated politician in the country”
James: “Not only an act of epic dishonesty, but it’s also an act of craven sycophancy.”
The victim card just got declined in the most brutal way possible.
This is radio gold. Farage’s entire “poor me” routine in flames.
This is so satisfying to watch 😂😂😂👇👇👇👇 #JamesOBrien #NigelFarage #LBC
Nigel Farage earns over a million pounds a year.
Still claims £160,900 in expenses (benefits)
Moans about people abusing benefits.
But not himself, of course.
To commemorate the 50 yrs since THAT summer, we're rolling back the prices and for the next two weeks were offering a 4kw solar system and 10kwh battery at 1976 prices.
Yes, yours for only £290,000
Limited time offer, two weeks only.
You want nostalgia, we'll give you nostalgia.
It's Monday night and it's #midsummer so it's time for a special edition of 'How light is it in #Orkney at 11.30pm this week?'
You are not going to believe this, but it's the #SummerSolstice, there's absolutely no wind, and it's STILL THIS LIGHT! 💡❤️
Did you hear any thunder last night?
Somerset alone had around 18,540 strikes in the past 24 hours⚡
Take a look at the intense rain that stormed eastwards from yesterday afternoon and into this morning ⛈️
"Dear Diary,
Made the foolish mistake of doing a couple of interviews today. Thought I could deal with questions about the £5 million by saying "None of your business!" but it seems I'm expected to be 'accountable' in some way. As if! Where do people get these weird ideas from?"
Excellent article for those banging on about 1976
The 76 heatwave was indeed extreme, but a similar rare meteorological setup would result in much hotter temperatures now due to climate change
By 2056 45°C is plausible if current warming rate continues

Farage on #BBCBreakfast: “If Andy Burnham becomes PM we need a General Election, no mandate!”
Sally Nugent: “Do your MPs who defected from the Tories have a mandate?”
Watch the chancer’s face as his own logic gets rammed straight back down his throat. Pure gold.
This is the exact line every interviewer should use on him from now on.😂😂😂
RT if Sally Nugent deserves a medal 👇👇👇👇
The number of locations recording 40°C+ (104°F) across France today is simply extraordinary.
This comes after the hottest night in France's history, where many locations did not get below 25°C (77°F).
It’s the 10th anniversary of Brexit. Let’s have a look at how that’s going:
1974-2016: 7 prime ministers
2016-2026: 7 prime ministers
I said it then. I’ll say it again.
It’s a shitshow.
Wow, that was the largest lightning storm I've seen over London in some time. Almost 3,000 strikes recorded in the last two hours alone 🌩️
And with first light at 3.55am, London has gone from complete darkness to thunderstorms to full daylight in the space of an hour!
This is the highest CAPE I've ever seen modelled for the UK, and potentially the highest we'll ever see.
The risk of severe thunderstorms begins tomorrow and could continue right through to the end of the week. Monday currently looks like the most likely day for widespread thunderstorm development, as clear triggers are present. There is much more uncertainty from Tuesday through Friday. While models continue to show extreme instability, they currently lack obvious triggers, although that could change as we get closer.
Even taking a conservative approach, CAPE values of 2,000–5,000 J/kg appear possible across much of the UK, particularly across southern and central areas. These are exceptionally high values for the UK and would support severe thunderstorms and potentially supercells, especially where strong wind shear is present.
Very frequent lightning, large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes, and flash flooding could all be possible at various points between Monday and Friday if storms develop.
Tomorrow may see a more widespread outbreak of thunderstorms, particularly along the M4 corridor, including areas around Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, and extending into North Wales.
Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to high 30s°C, while dew points could climb into the low to mid 20s°C. This combination is creating an extremely unstable airmass and is the reason such extraordinary CAPE values are being forecast.
I do not say this lightly: if sufficient triggers develop to release this instability, we could be looking at a historic week of severe weather by UK standards.
