@michae81338@sebastiansalek While I agree that these places are dodgy, seeing as a lot of them will be washing dirty money meaning they will be paying more tax than they should.
@IdealSwell @whstancil As the poem goes "First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist...
...and everything was fine and it stopped there."
@LNallalingham@PolitlcsUK@Telegraph Oh yeah, businesses will be thinking "I'm gonna make a couple of percent less profit in the UK so I'm going to pull out and make no profit whatsoever"
@irgarner@NickCohen4 Even if Starmers labour achieve nothing in office, it's been worth it to watch the right wing press go absolutely battered shit insane.
@RightNUFC@thestebe@Conservatives If they are doing Tory adverts I'm guessing they also voted for the Tory governments that privatised energy and spent the north sea oil money on keeping their taxes nice and low rather than investing for the future.
@teaforpterosaur Oh yeah, agree with that. Think that's a deeper problem with political discussion these days, it has to be good Vs evil and no nuance.
@teaforpterosaur It's not an issue with an easy answer, but having watched elderly relatives brains turn to mush, just existing, confused, scared and unhappy, I don't want to have to go out that way if I get a similar diagnosis.
@DPJHodges@andrewdaw36@IanDunt@clarkaw Yes? I've had friends that have worked in cool places and have been lucky enough to get a few tours over the years, can't see the harm in that.
