Street got a letter from Renfrewshire council about rearranged bin collection tomorrow because of the bank holiday. It's mayhem this morning. Bins of all different colours out, some with none out, some with all out. Panic setting in. Wheelie bin roulette.

Interim St Mirren boss Craig McLeish is set to remain in charge until the end of the season with former Dundee manager Tony Docherty as his assistant. Talks were held with Carl Robinson, but the potential move broke down and the club have decided to stick with McLeish. #smfc

@SpamJavelin1975 @djbshearer @railLKB Sounds a simple plan, but even the shortest pendolino (9 coaches) could only lock out 3, meaning 6 would still open when the doors are released.

@djbshearer @railLKB Logistically wouldn't work. Could only manually open a crew door at these stations. On an 11 car Pendo, the most carriages you could prohibit from opening is 3, meaning 8 carriages doors would all operate. Haymarket can accommodate 9 car class 390s, but use SDO on 11 cars.

@Rachel14F1 @djbshearer @railLKB I would assume only the Hitachi fleet call here, as Pendolino's can only automatically disable the back 2 coaches from opening or manually disable the back 3. Hitachi fleet don't run to Glasgow.

St Mirren Football Club can confirm that we have been approached by Aberdeen FC to speak to manager Stephen Robinson in relation to their managerial vacancy.

Aberdeen have met a contractual clause in Stephen’s contract so the club has granted them permission to speak to him regarding the vacancy.

We hope for a swift resolution to this matter and will keep supporters updated.
