At the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Interior, we presented the Along Transport App.
A great conversation on safety, innovation, and how technology can improve mobility for millions of Nigerians.
Excited about the potential collaboration ahead.
We recently featured on Channels Television (The Beam) discussing the future of mobility in Nigeria.
The core issue is clear: Nigeria needs a digitally enabled, safe, and regulated transport ecosystem.
At Along, we are building:
•A structured shared mobility system
•Identity-backed safety infrastructure
•A scalable model that can expand across cities and markets
We featured on Arise News (Global Business Report) discussing the future of transportation in Nigeria.
This conversation goes beyond ride-hailing.
It’s about:
•Safety
•Structure
•And building real transport infrastructure
At Along, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
One of the key points we discussed on Arise News (Global Business Report) is the misconception around shared mobility.
Along is not a ride-pooling platform.
Instead, we are building a structured shared transit system:
•Leveraging existing 4-seater vehicles
•Operating across predefined stops and routes
•Delivering predictable pricing and improved safety
This approach allows us to:
•Scale faster using existing infrastructure
•Reduce inefficiencies seen in traditional ride-hailing
•Provide a system that is both affordable and reliable
We are not digitizing taxis.
We are digitizing informal transit into infrastructure.
All major problems in Nigeria can be solved with technology, but only if there’s political will, public access, and policies that ensure the tech is used.
it's interesting that 1.5 billion parameters is all you need to crush math competitions, but you need like 15 trillion to make the model be funny
maybe humor is the right measure of true intelligence
