Did invasive cardiac index rise at end of procedure? One of strongest predictors that all will be ok
If it didn’t rise, RV has fallen over, or procedure didn’t remove enough clot from key vessels. If in a crisis, some use nitric oxide but it’s all a bit speculative. Time usually solves.

Once the preload returned to the left atrium, severe restrictive physiology couldn’t cope and patient went into spectacular pulmonary oedema
Wasn’t likely related to volume of effusion - was related to volume of return after release of tamponade. Perhaps this is part of the ‘be careful draining amyloid’ concept.
