Rey Chow's idea that religious salvation ideals are vital to capitalism also has new meaning in healthcare as it becomes increasingly commidified ... Universal ideals are co-opted to sustain inequities. E.g. work reqs in Medicaid. Or even Medicaid itself.

Big moves in policy on HBV and HCV unlikely to have much effect until we aggressively deal with IVDU and/or lower barriers to testing. More primary care mandates are not going to be effective given many patients living with HBV/ HCV are disconnected from care.
